"The property is a working vineyard and small farm, complete with chickens and several quiet dogs whose puppies go to be trained as helper dogs for the disabled and hard-of-hearing. Rustic, but clean and bucolic. The hosts, Dennis and Marge, are warm and genuinely welcoming; their full breakfasts each morning in the sun room feature farm-fresh eggs, perfectly ripe fruits of the season, and good coffee. They serve their own label wine, a delicious Cab, in the afternoons. In town, we had "the works" at a spa, ate at first-rate restaurants, enjoyed the annual Tractor Parade one night with the local people (always friendly) and had the extra benefit of taking our dog along--(just make arrangements with Dennis in advance). Enjoy your privacy knowing you are welcomed and cared for; a great place to relax and not worry about appearances. We will definitely be back."
