We loved our stay at Maple Hill Manor and the Murder/Mystery dinner. We look forward to coming back.

From the moment we were greeted until departure, everything; room, home, breakfast, grounds, and people; everything was perfect.

After three years of celebrating anniversaries, mini-vacations and girls' night at Maple Hill Manor, it is still the best! We have stayed in many B&Bs in the US and UK and none of them compare with MHM. The gentle ambience of the house and grounds, the graciousness of the hosts, the supberb food and delightful accomodations make it a place we will continue to return to several times a year. Everything about this inn is wonderful. The food is gourmet. The beds are luxurious. The hosts are so friendly and provide everything you need and more. I love the setting high on the hill and seeing the cute alpaca grazing in the field. I also love hearing a little bit about the history of the home when it was used as a Union hospital during the Civil War. It's a wonderful setting for weekend getaways and would also be great for reunions, weddings, and anniversaries. You won't be disappointed. My friends and I love to go around Christmas and go into the nearby towns to shop.

My husband and I spent two nights in the honeymoon suite for our recent babymoon and it was amazing. Best B&B we've ever stayed at! The location was charming, the house and rooms were impeccable, and the service was perfect. The breakfasts were more than your average B&B, quite gourmet, and the chef is on a gluten free diet which meant that I could really relax and enjoy eating without worrying about getting contaminated food. Plenty of fun little activities around nearby towns, and the property itself was lovely to walk, visit the alpacas, and throw the tennis ball for the two adorable golden retrievers. So picturesque it was almost a cliche! Thanks Todd and Tyler!

My friends and I rented the entire house for the weekend, 7 couples. It was a perfect little getaway from the children, just close enough to home to go back in an emergency, but far enough away that you really felt like it was a vacation…and what a vacation it was! We were greeted with beautiful scenery, amazing desserts and fabulous rooms. Todd and Tyler were constantly present, offering us complimentary beverages and making sure our needs were all met. Oftentimes I have stayed at B&Bs where the owners/hosts were absent. Not the case here. Todd was extremely helpful in offering assistance in the form of recommendations and maps to nearby attractions. Some went to Bernheim Arboretum. Some went on part of the Bourbon Trail. Myself and a few other mothers, we stayed back and enjoyed the quiet of the day, sitting in the parlor and the many chairs available outside. Tyler’s breakfast was amazing both mornings, as were the cakes, pies, and fudge. We were spoiled! Our group included those who had stayed at B&Bs before and some who had never been to one. However, we were all so impressed by our rooms, the farm, and the attention we received from Todd and Tyler that we have already booked the house for next year!

Our 3 day stay at Maple Hill Manor was the most enjoyable vacation at a bed & breakfast we have ever had. The food (breakfast and dessert) were outstanding. The owners were also very helpful in giving us suggestions on points of interest in the area.

Beautiful, elegant, wonderful, amazing, and a little taste of Heaven are just a few words to describle this enchanting B&B. This was our very first time staying at a B&B and we have no idea what we had gotten ourselves into but after we pulled into the driveway we knew we made a very good decision. Todd & Tyler are 5-star, 1st rate class professionals and make your stay the most enjoyable. The house is incredible and something you must see for your self! And the food - Wow - was very delicious! From pies & cakes to one of the best breakfasts we've ever had, these guys might need to consider opening up a restaurant too! Our room - the Jefferson Davis Room - was gorgeous, very comfortable, and had an amazing view of the llama/alpaca fields! Also getting the chance to interact with the llamas/alpacas was very fun & enjoyable and if you get an extra few moments of time, you must meet Sammy & Sofie, the two best golden retrievers you'll ever meet! So overall, from one night's experience, we've found that this B&B is just amazing and I hope everyone get's the chance to stay here at least once; but for us, we'll be back several times more! Maple Hill Manor has been my retreat from Life's Wear and Tear for over 10 years, now. I love the experience more and more, each time I go to this beautiful home. Just pulling into the long winding driveway lessens any tension...if you ARE able to actually fall in love with a home, I have done so! Having said that, the Inn actually takes a back seat to the awesome InnKeepers!! Tyler and Todd are, quite simply, PERFECT at what they do and what they provide. T&T enhance the qualities that the home already has to make your experience THE best it can possibly be! I've met and made wonderful friends in this heavenly place...

Twelve of us had the time of our lives participating in Maple Hill Manor's murder mystery event! Incredible fun, outstanding five-course dinner, impeccable rooms, marvelous (as always) breakfast. We've booked for 2012 already!!

My boyfriend and I spend one night at Maple Hill Manor on a recent long weekend vacation in Kentucky. We were celebrating our anniversary as well as my boyfriend's birthday and touring the bourbon trail. We stayed in the McElroy Honeymoon Hideaway, which was by far one of the nicest rooms in which either of us had EVER stayed. Todd was professional and friendly upon our arrival and even aided in making a dinner reservation for that evening. The decor and ambiance of the historic plantation home were both charming and comfortable. The care with which the the innkeepers maintain their property and assist their guests is impeccable. The breakfast was plentiful and deliciously upscale, but not at all pretentious. Like an foodie's version of traditional country fare. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

This was my first Bed and Breakfast visit and I can honestly say that we are planning to go back to Maple Hill Manor within the next month. I haven't felt so welcome and relaxed in a very long time. I also brought along my son who is 13 and he had a wonderful time playing with the animals and talking with the other guests. Todd was fabulous and made us feel extremely welcome. The breakfast was outstanding and the dessert in the evening was to die for. We truly can't wait to come back and thank Todd so much for showing us some peace and serenity!

Just reminiscing on the wonderful weekend we just spent at Maple Hill Manor. It seems we never leave without booking our next return visit and adding more couples to our party! At this point we cannot count our visits. It's like coming home to see family and friends. Through many years of gracious hosting and warm welcomes from Todd and Tyler, they have become good friends. Todd and Tyler make you feel right at home and treat you as if you are family. The grounds are immaculate. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The best part by far, is the delicious country breakfast prepared by Tyler every morning. They'll keep you full for hours! Make sure you save room after your dinner because there are always homemade deserts waiting for you when you get back.

We enjoyed so much the warm greeting, beautiful decor, spacious rooms, lots of plump pillows, award winning gourmet breakfasts, sweet dogs, kittens, llamas, alpacas & horse, hammocks, swing, outdoor garden setting, so peaceful and quiet for relaxation!

Todd and Tyler were such warm and accommodating innkeepers. They went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed. The Alpacas and llamas were so unusual and fun to watch. I loved the cats and dogs as well. We enjoyed the trail, gift shop, and breakfast. What a treat as it was both our first times in a B and B. I would highly recommend it to others and wish we could have stayed longer to relax more. Thanks guys for a nice stay!

My sisters and I had a wonderful stay at the Maple Hill Manor. It is a very well kept property. We enjoyed walking the grounds and the company of the animals that reside there as well. The innkeepers were very accomodating and did not hesitate to assist us with anything we needed. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all.

Maple Hill Manor hits every note perfectly. From the large and scrumptious breakfast to the beautifully appointed, spotless and comfortable room to the exceptionally gracious innkeepers, it could not have been better. We were fascinated by the alpacas and loved the well mannered golden retrievers too. It was three days of bliss and we have already made our return reservations.

We loved it here. Todd and Tyler put so much effort and love into their B & B and their property and their animals, and it shows. The rooms are spotless and pretty and have everything you'd want -- fresh towels, robes, a TV, wifi. The grounds are vast, gorgeous, and well-maintained. The house itself is awesome -- truly historic, an authentic piece of the Kentucky. They leave out fresh-baked cookies and pies in the main room at all hours and are attentive without being intrusive. Breakfasts were very nice, served at a communal table, and it was a great atmosphere. You get the feeling the hosts stayed in every room, thought about every detail, and saw everything through their guests' eyes. This is also a spectacularly beautiful part of bluegrass country, with winding backroads and wonderful landscape. It's a peaceful haven, but right in between Louisville and Lexington and 20 minutes from Bardstown. Our dog also loved it here, and the host dogs were sweet and amenable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Everything was wonderful. I have told all my friends & family about this historic getaway spot. Can't wait to return.

Maple Hill Manor is so warm and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, and the Manor is immaculate. Todd and Tyler, the innkeepers, are what make Maple Hill Manor truly exceptional. Todd provided our party great recommendations about various sites to see, as well as wonderful driving directions. Tyler's breakfasts and evening treats are beyond delicious! Best lemon pancakes ever! I can't wait to go back! And the alpacas are great, too!

Enjoyed my stay with my wife in the Lincoln Library room, the inn keepers were very nice and helpful and all of the other guest we met were very nice people. The location had very great senery, looking out the back window of the room you could not see another house as far as the eye could see. Good food and a fun one night stay for us.

My sister and I try to get together a few times each year and this year she traveled from Ga. to Ky. Our choice of B&B's was Maple Hill and we have decided this will be an annual location. The setting was perfection, the food beyond all expectations and Todd and Tyler were the epitome of cordial hosts! We felt comfortable, pampered and relaxed. Our strolls with the dogs to watch the alpacas were delightful and we had our choice of shady places to relax-from the gazebo, to the hammock or the swing on the patio. We have visited many B&B's, but Maple Hill is, by far, our favorite!

Such a comfortable and restful place, Todd and Tyler are super hosts. The home is fabulous as is the farm. Great to wake up to peacefully grazing animals! Above and beyond service, will definitely return.

The location is great - within a short driving distance to several museums, parks, and lots of other tourist attractions. Getting to know about and interact with the animals on the farm was a special treat. The Alpaca and Llama farm is definitely a bonus to this already beautiful and charming home and grounds.

Over the last decade, I have made countless trips to Maple Hill Manor. If a person can "fall in love" with a home, I believe that is exactly what has happened to me! Staying in this beautiful B&B is consistently THE most restful, satisfying, and calming experience. This was our first stay at a B&B and we were very impressed. We never felt rushed, and Todd & Tyler did everything they could to make us feel at home & comfortable. I love how this B&B is on a farm with animals around. Todd told us about the history of the house, and educated us on alpaca's and llama's. Tyler made delicious breakfasts and pastries every afternoon. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay.

We stayed here for an anniversary weekend getaway and were so impressed with Todd's gracious welcome, with the beauty of the manor and grounds and with the incredibly delicious and generous breakfasts!

The Inn is beautiful as are the grounds. Eventhough it was a rainy day, we managed to dodge the rain drops and enjoy the grounds. Viewing the llamas and alpacas was a unique experience. The food was the most amazing part. During the evening, delicious homemade dessert were set out to be enjoyed by all along with coffee, tea, and cold drinks. The morning breakfast was gourmet. Tyler and Todd are fantastic hosts and go out of there way to make sure your stay is outstanding. We could not have asked for more. We will definitely go back. So many of the other guests were had been to Maple Hill Manor numerous times and we can understand why.

The entire experience was fantastic. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The food was exquisite. Todd and Tyler were fabulous hosts, and we are definitely looking forward to another visit.

We enjoy the Whiskey trail and the history around Springfield. We just enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and enjoyable hosts.

This B&B was the best I have ever stayed in. The breakfasts were delicious & unique. The innkeepers were friendly & professional. The rooms were tastefully decorated & comfortable.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the loving dogs, treated to the grand tour, shown our accommodations, and offered refreshments. Todd then helped with dinner plans providing us with suggestions, reviews and maps to get to our destination. Returning after dinner, we helped ourselves to one of three dessert choices Tyler had made and some tea. Todd again checked in with us to make sure all was well. We enjoyed a leisurely evening in the jacuzzi tub and almost slept through the alarm in the big comfy feather bed- pure delight! Breakfast was so good and big we didn't need to eat lunch!! We were sad we didn't get say good-by to the dogs in the morning.

Now what could be better and arriving at your destination and being greeted by the smell of a just out of the oven homemade apple pie (the fresh chocolate chip cookies the next evening were pretty special also). Outstanding! Everything that followed lived up to that rating. My husband and I need a quite place away from home and this was it. Todd and Tyler were wonderful hosts and met our every needs. Todd was an excellent tour quide and Tyler's breakfast were fantastic! Need a place to enjoy the quiet in total comfort look no further, this is it. Highly recommend! Anna and Robert.

We visited Maple Hill Manor in February 2011, although the weather was rainy and cool we could not have had a more perfect experience. The hosts were very hospitable and made us feel totally comfortable. The home is lovely, as are the grounds. The rooms were all large and luxurious. We went out to dinner and returned to desserts and coffee waiting for us. Breakfast was delicious and presentation was perfect. Whole experience could not have been better. I didn't have robes as described, and my candles were already used until they could not be lit again. But they staff was wonderful and the food was great.

Tucked quietly away Maple Hill was an ideal setting for a relaxing and very special evening for my husband and I. We had a wonderful experience. The hospitality was excellent. We only live a few miles from Maplehill Manor but we felt like we were thousands of miles away. We will recommend them to all our friends and family.

Maple Hill Manor is a beautiful and comfortable B&B with two incredibly welcoming owners. It's a great place to unwind and relax, and if you want, enjoy bourbon or horse country. I've stayed here 4 times and continue to bring friends along, and every one of them has fallen in love with it as well.

Maple hill manor is a great place! I've stayed there four times over the past four years, and I love it more and more each time! The innkeepers are wonderful and will accomodate special dietary concerns or any other special request you have. We have rented the house with a group of friends and participated in their murder mystery dinners! They are really a hoot and a lot of fun for any age crowd! I wouldn't have a single hesitation in recommending maple hill to my friends and family!

We had the best time at maple Hill Manor. Todd was an awesome host and Tyler's cooking was out of this world. The inn was awesome and clean. Despite the stories I heard about it being haunted, I didn't mind and we have reserved to stay next year.

I stumbled upon the Maple Hill Manor website and found that the offered Murder Mystery Weekend packages. Me and 13 of my friends rented out the manor for a night and had a wonderful time. The owners were incredibly attentive and welcoming, the grounds were ideal and our group had an amazing time. The llamas, alpacas, horse and 2 beautiful golden retrievers (outside) added to the charm! Several of us are already making plans to return in the spring.

This B&B was absolutely exquisite. I felt like I was going back in time. The history of the house adds to the elegant charm of the place. For ghost story lovers this place has an added bonus. I absolutely fell in love with this house and I will definitely be going back. Todd the innkeeper was so welcoming and the rooms were gorgeous. The animals were a nice touch as well.

I was very pleased with my visit to Maple Hill Manor. We were greeted at the door upon our arrival by one of the innkeepers like we were visiting a family member. They made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The honeymoon suite was a cozy little room. We enjoyed sitting in the jacuzzi which was located by the fireplace. It is a very romantic setting. They provided lovely robes for us to use. The bed was so soft and comfortable. They offer several packages which we chose not to include in this visit but sound amazing. I especially enjoyed going to the fence and seeing the alpacas. That was a first for me. All in all, everything was satisfactory. Even though my stay was during the winter, the outside environment was still very nice. The gazebo, gift shop and patio/entrace area were lit up. I'm sure a spring or summer stay would be much nicer but for the winter, it really couldn't get any better.

This was my wife's and my 10th Wedding Aniversary. To say that this is the best bed and breakfast in the state of Kentucky is not enough. Everything was simply exquisite and they made our stay one of the most memorable at any place that we have ever been at . The inn keepers helped me plan my stay and helped me get everything I needed from the reservations for dinner to the wonderful food and even helped set the mood of the whole room with the lovely fireplace and the flowers and the food and somehow they even produced the snow outside. It was warm and cozy the whole time while the snow fell outside. Simply magical. The only complaint we had was that we simply could not stay any longer. We had to get back to the job, and the home, and kid. It was awesome, and we will be back very soon. We could not have asked for a better weekend stay for our 10th Aniversary. Our 2nd visit to Maple Hill Manor even exceeded our first, which we wouldn’t have thought possible. As far back as I can remember I’ve wanted to stay at a B & B over the Christmas holidays, and I was not disappointed! The decorations, the food, the warm fireplace in our room, and whole ambiance, was just stunning! We made memories for a lifetime. Everything was spotless and perfect, and Tyler’s breakfasts were amazing. Todd is such a perfect host you’d think he took classes in it, but yet you know he just has a natural knack for it. Todd & Tyler were delightful hosts who made us feel comfortable and "at home". This was our first B&B experience: and we can't wait for the next. Breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were pleasant & comfortable (especially enjoyed Lincoln's Library). The alpaca and llama farm was lots of fun. Great place to get away from the "rat race" and just relax.

Five of us shared two rooms for three nights and had an amazing time! The rooms were spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Todd was a warm, attentive and friendly host and Tyler's breakfasts and desserts were fantastic! We felt at home immediately and loved the family atmosphere. We will definitely go back!

We had a gorgeous outdoor wedding at Maple Hill Manor, and then spent the next 5 nights there, "getting away from it all." Those have been the best 5 days of my life! The peace, relaxation, and romance where everything we were hoping for. The hosts were so friendly, personable, and charming. Everything was elegant and impressive. We could not have picked a better location for our wedding and honeymoon. Everything was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be repeat visitors.

This B&B has to be one of the best. The room was beautiful, the food delicious, and the service outstanding. The owners make you feel so welcome and right at home. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. We truly enjoyed our stay. I would give it my highest recommendation.

Maple Hill Manor is beautifully restored and the owners' attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. The grounds are gorgeous and I love having all the animals around - especially Sophie and Sammy, the official Golden greeters. MHM is definitely where I go when I need to relax. I could spend all day sitting on the porch reading a book. Then there is the food - I cannot compliment Tyler enough on his culinary ability. The food is delicious, and you never leave the table hungry. But the best part of MHM is the inkeepers themselves. They make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. They are always available to help you plan out your day and can even make the arrangements for you. I have stayed in several bed and breakfasts and this one is by far the best - the deserve every award they have won!

We recently enjoyed our seventh visit at Maple Hill Manor. We love the area's Bourbon Trail and history. We love the serene setting of the llama/alpaca farm (and the resulting clothing purchases). We love the elegant rooms. We love the gourmet breakfast feasts (and 24-hour dessert bar). We especially have come to love our gracious hosts. We enthusiastically recommend Maple Hill Manor to anyone who yearns for a relaxing getaway to an exquisite part of the country with plenty of pampering.

My husband and I wanted the perfect getaway before we become new parents. We decided on the Maple Hill Manor bed and breakfast and we could not have chosen a better place. It was fun to walk around and see the animals, talking on the tree swing, and loved the calm music playing that we even danced to. The service was outstanding. We really got to know Todd and Tyler and they both were so nice and helpful. Todd welcome us and was happy to help with anything that we needed. Tyler's desserts (out of the oven chocolate chip cookies, and pie) and the breakfast he made was superburb. Our room was amazing and included a jacuzzi, fireplace, tv, and an amazing bed. My husband and I enjoyed our experience so much and plan to go back next year. The thing I liked the best about our stay is that we both felt very comfortable. It was truly, a pefect getaway.

It was my first time (and hopefully not my only) visit to Maple Hill and it was just a wonderful stay. Many of the guests are repeaters, returning for many years. All of the rooms are beautiful. The parlor and dining room are beautiful. Tyler's breakfast's are to die for. Todd is especially welcoming and always interested in your day and offering suggestions. For anyone going to Kentucky, this should be your "home" during your trip.

The Maple Hill Manor Bed and Breakfast is fantastic! It was a great experience and my wife and I can’t wait to go back. As we first arrived we were greeted by two very lovable dogs and three cats. They were all so cute and funny…a great first impression! As we entered the house we were amazed at how lovely it was. It was built in 1851 and is still in wonderful condition. Todd greeted us and took us on a tour of the house. He was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the McElroy room which is a private suite on the second floor at the back of the house. It was a very spectacular room with a Jacuzzi tub included. The room was very private with its own stairway and balcony. We stayed two nights and both mornings the breakfast was amazing! Tyler is such a wonderful cook! Todd and Tyler made our stay very comfortable and we felt at ease just hanging out in the dining room during the day, chatting and having coffee. There were snacks and desserts out at all times…you will definitely not go hungry! The house was situated on beautiful grounds on a full working alpaca farm just a few minutes from downtown Springfield. Its also centrally located to the Bourbon Trail and many wineries and other tourist attractions. We will definitely be going back…it really felt like a home away from home.

They guys are great--efficient, wonderfully nice, helpful--and the B&B is beautiful and clean. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back. The animals are friendly and the area is lovely and peaceful. This B&B gets 100% and two thumbs up from us!

We were SO happy with our experience at Historic Maple Hill Manor! Every aspect of our time there was beautiful, interesting, and comforting, and the best we have experienced: the warmest and friendliest of welcomes, the easiest and nicest conversations, the tastiest homemade snacks, the loveliest music in the background, the most interesting grounds and most beautiful decor, the softest sheets and most generous pillows, the most delicious and interesting breakfast. Our hosts made us feel like visiting friends. They made sure we could reach them any time and generously assisted with every need. This is the one B&B we will make sure to return to--we may make the 8 hour trip just to stay there.

Our stay at Maple Hill Manor was spectacular, and Todd & Tyler went out of their way to make our stay incredible. They have a keen attention to detail, and made us feel so welcome. We felt like we were staying with old friends. Our room was charming and cozy and spotless. The queen sized bed with its down-feather-top was more comfortable than my own bed! :) Walking in and being welcomed by a homemade cherry pie, homemade fudge, and warm brownies was the icing on the cake. Beautiful Setting on top of hill over looking valley and farm land all around. Rooms are terrific with two beds in most rooms with total privacy. Innkeepers are great and look after your every need.

We have stayed at many B &Bs throughout the US and Mexico. Maple Hill Manor is at the top of our list. Todd and Tyler were so great to our girls while we were there (6 and 9). They even let them "herd" the alpacas. The rooms were beautiful, the owners were so kind and nice, and the food was amazing. The setting is very peaceful. We felt at home as soon as we entered the property. This was a wonderful experience. We will be back.

We recently stayed at Maple Hill Manor as this was a birthday trip (50th) for my husband and he wanted to visit the bourbon distilleries. Our trip from outside the Washington, DC area took us (between extreme rain and a jack-knifed tractor trailer on the highway) about 13 hours (normally a 8.5 hour trip). We contacted Todd and he left a key to our room and a kind note for us. It was very thoughtful for him to mention that we could help ourselves to the fabulous dessert (blackberry cobbler and peach/raspberry cobbler). We had a great first impression and continued to be very impressed throughout our three night stay at Maple Hill Manor. The service (Todd and Tyler) and breakfasts (Tyler - exceptional job) were amazing. As a further testament to satisfaction, many of the guests that we spoke to were repeat guests. The setting was very peaceful and we loved seeing the animals on the grounds. In terms of value, I am used to prices in the DC area. As such, I thought Maple Hill Manor provided an exceptional value for guests (includes large well-appointed rooms, hearty breakfast, daily dessert, 24-hour beverage service, wireless internet). In fact, I walked away thinking that overall the value was among the very best of any B&B that we have ever stayed in. We hope to return within the next year for a little rest and relaxation.

I really enjoyed my first stay at Maple Hill Manor. The room I stayed in was beautiful as was all the other parts of the house I saw. The food was excellent and the service too. I recommend this as a very good choice for a Bed and Breakfast.

Just got back from our weekend at Historic Maple Manor. Couldn't have ask for a better place to go for a weekend get away. Beautiful, serene and couldn't have asked for a better host, always at your beck and call. The rooms were above expectation and very clean. Food was delicious and Saturday night treats were wonderful. Very relaxing and quiet. I would recomend it to anyone...and I will.

Beautiful house and surroundings. The breakfasts and treats were fabulous! The owners really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The dogs were very friendly to be around and one even jumped in our drivers side seat ready to go home with us. It was too cute! The only think I would suggest to maybe think about changing is the store you have outback. It is run down inside and isn't air conditioned. If people are going to pay $100 for an alpaca robe or blanket I would think they would'nt want it to be dusty or smelling like a moldy basement. It just needs to be fixed up some. Other than that it was wonderful and we would definitly go back!

My mom and I stayed at Maple Hill Manor, and we had a wonderful time. The grounds were very peaceful, the rooms were beautiful, the food was heavenly, and the hospitality we received from Todd and Tyler was excellent! And we enjoyed Sammie and Sophie, their Golden Retrievers, and all of the other animals.

After years of traveling and staying in hotels, this was our first bed and breakfast visit. We were amazed at how much more we enjoyed our stay. An amazing home and friendly hosts. Food was also magnificent!!

Maple Hill Manor is a relaxing experience. Visiting with the Innkeepers, Todd and Tyler, was a pleasure. Maple Hill's central location to Lexington, Louisville, Danville, Harrodsburg and Bardstown gives a variety of excursions to explore.

My wife and I treated Dad to a weekend at 1851 Historic Maple Hill Manor and a tour of the local distilleries as a Father's Day gift. Todd and Tyler, the owners / caretakers, clearly love to serve their guests as much as they love their home. Todd met us at the door, helped carry in our luggage and told us about the incredible history of this unique home. I was amazed at the attention to detail - everywhere you look you find some interesting little antique knick-knack, book, or architectural feature. The entire home is in pristine, museum quality condition, and is clean-clean-clean, no small feat for a working historic property. We stayed in the Abraham Lincoln room. An incredibly comfortable canopied bed, fireplace and gorgeous antiques were surrounded by 14 ft tall book-shelves filled from floor to ceiling with vintage classics interspersed with neat little things like antique cameras. I could have easily spent the whole weekend just discovering the hidden treasures in this room, but didn't. Tyler is an incredible chef, and we could not resist tip-toeing downstairs for a late night sampling of his lemon bunt cake and home-made chocolate chip cookies. After a very restful night we were treated to easily, no exaggeration, the best breakfast we have ever had. We all three agreed on that, until it was outdone by the even more amazing breakfast on Sunday. Spoiler alert: You have not lived until you have tried the hot jalapeño jam on buttermilk biscuits. This property is a fully functioning Alpaca farm. These gracious animals are so calming to watch. Todd and Tyler have an on-site store of Alpaca goods - we bought blankets and Teddy bears made from the extremely soft Alpaca wool. This weekend was a great Father's Day gift for Dad, and one that we will never forget, thanks to our hosts and this serenely calming, pristine B&B.

Todd and Tyler are superb hosts for B&B that is both a historic wonder and a working alpaca/llama farm. Accomodations honor the manor's history while providing modern convenience. We will be back soon.

We found the accommodations clean and warm and the welcome equal as well. The atmosphere was beautiful, the peace and quiet was great. The most memorable was the "warm greeting that they Golden Retriever gave us." Wonderful dog and gentle disposition. Would certainally consider staying there again. Though it was close to where we live, it was worth the investment. The Breakfast was wonderful as was the home atmosphere around the table and the story of the place was extremely worth hearing. Todd and Tyler were friendly and made one feel welcome.

From the minute we were greeted at the door on arrival to the morning that we left, it was the most pleasant and peaceful experience. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated but you feel comfortable. We went out to eat dinner, and even greeted when we got back, like when you were a teenager and you knew someone cared when you got home! And in the late evening, there is a warm desert waiting and you can have a social time with other guest or brought to your room. We had full use of the house and grounds, including a beverage station, and a library of movies and games if you needed any extra entertainment.

We really enjoyed our stay! I was able to totally unwind and relax. The food was outstanding and I can hardly wait for Tyler's cook book to be published. Our room was very clean and offered many amenities. Tod and Tyler went our of there way to make us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the Lamas and Alpacas as well as the cats and dogs. We look forward to visiting again!

Our extended family of 11 booked the entire bed and breakfast to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Perfect in everyway--gracious hosts, gourmet food, spacious beautiful rooms, beautiful alpaca farm and views, sweet golden retrievers. We all agreed we felt at home and relaxed and had fun.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The hosts were friendly and very helpful with area information. They wanted to make sure our stay was pleasant and relaxing. The food and manor were outstanding. Our only complaint would be the small bathroom, but it was private and met all our needs. We are just used to more space. I would not let that keep me from returning.

We were only able to stay at Maple Hill for one night (unfortunately) but it was a lovely stay. Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious and Todd and Tyler are very gracious hosts. The alpaca farm was such an added treat to the already gorgeous grounds. We stay at many b&bs when we travel and the breakfast we had at Maple Hill was to die for -- truly one of the best EVER from our experience. Hoping we'll get back again one day ...

Loved our experience with Todd and Tyler at Maple Hill Manor. The home is well taken care of, and beautifully decorated. Our every need was considered ahead of time, and taken care of in a professional and gracious manner. Food was well presented, beautifully cooked, and satisfied both me and my husband. Normally we're opposites and not easily satisfied. Our room was comfortable and filled with collectibles and any amenity you might need while there, other than a stool to get into the high bed. I didn't ask for one, so they may have had that available, too. We had a super time and it was a very relaxing vacation. All our questions about area excursions were immediately answered, along with alternate ideas, too. I wouldn't mind living there with them, if they took permanent boarders, but meanwhile, this was a dream vacation for my husband and I.
