This quaint B&B is beautifully furnished with some interesting musical artifacts, very practical, comfortable and user friendly rooms and very courteous and helpful owners. Breakfast was fantastic. It is centrally located in Newport with easy access to restaurants, shops and entertainment. If you are looking for a B&B in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, you will not beat this one.

Had a great New Year's Eve stay in Newport. The Gateway was in walking distance to most places you want to go. There was accessible free parking, the house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The breakfast was delicious. The hosts were excellent and we already booked for next year.

So much better than "Value" Inn. This place is very welcoming and has a home like quality. The only bad thing was that the walls are paper thin, and everything is heard from one room to the next. Sandy was very friendly and made us feel at home. We will have to make it a two night stay next time we are in the area!

Our two-night stay over Thanksgiving was nothing short of perfection. From Ken and Sandy's warm welcome to the well-appointed room and delicious breakfasts, it was a total delight. We'll definitely return. ~ Martha and Bob

The Germans that settled in Cincinnati came up with this dish. It has lots of grains, spices, and pork and it is packaged like a roll of sausage. We slice it, fry it and serve it with eggs. A real favorite!
