1840 Tucker House Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I hated to leave the Tucker House! The owners, Steve and Devona, were delightful and hit the right note as innkeepers to ensure that our visit was perfect. Their attention to detail was everywhere; the beautiful restorations and wonderful antiques throughout combined to make us very comfortable without feeling we were in a museum. Breakfast was delicious and relaxed, despite the fact that the innkeepers were hosting 25 family members and friends for Thanksgiving dinner a mere 6 hours after we finished breakfast! Martha Stewart, look out!

We stayed at the Tucker House for the second time in four months. We absolutely love this place. The innkeepers are wonderful, friendly and accommondating. We love the Courting Chamber, with its whirlpool tub and walk-in shower. The home is beautifully restored and contains so many antiques; it is very inviting. If you like staying at B&B's, then do not miss staying at the Tucker House.

We celebrated our anniversary with an overnight at the Tucker House. It is a beautiful house, especially the antique furnishings. Our hosts served us a magnificent breakfast, highlighted by the "ableskiver" pancakes. We enjoyed the swimming pool on a sweltering August afternoon.

Everything was excellent! Would recommend to anyone. Hope to stay again soon!

Stayed in April 2010. Can not say enough good about the Inn. Had to cook special for me (allergy) and they made it look easy. The food was great.

Our stay in the Traveler's Room was like being in an elegant treehouse. The breakfast was wonderful and Devona & Steve were lovely hosts. We look forward to returning for a longer visit.

My husband and I just spent the weekend at The Tucker House B&B after visiting Bardstown. This is the best B&B I've been to. So friendly you feel like you're at home and they spoil you rotten with extras. Oh beware of the biggest breakfast you've ever seen!

First time ever at a B&B and definitively an amazing experience at the Tucker House. Steve & Devon were great hosts; made it seem like we were home away from home. The place was gorgeous…really clean, bed was extremely comfy.
