Located on the last 6.5 acres of a 400 acre land grant from Virginia Governor Patrick Henry in the late 1700's, Pinecrest Cottage is unique in that it is a separate well-appointed guest house, offering guests complete privacy. Guests will enjoy a living room with 2 sofas, one of which converts to a double bed, fireplace, TV/VCR, king-size bed in a large bedroom, full roomy bath, sun porch and a modern, fully-stocked kitchen providing every convenience. Visitors in the warmer months will enjoy carefully tended perennial beds set among 100 year old trees and are welcome to enjoy a dip in the full-size pool or a round of tennis on the court. The convenience of an entire house at the cost of a single room is very inviting for individuals, couples and families needing to spend several nights in Louisville. Come to Pinecrest Cottage where year round, you will enjoy Kentucky's scenic beauty and the warmth of southern hospitality in a romantic, secluded setting. Outdoor weddings are also available in the gardens at Pinecrest .

Our accommodations at Pinecrest, the charming private cottage, couldn't have been better. Appearing lovely on the website, the 'real thing' can't be captured in one dimension. From our first step inside this private oasis, our mini-vacation took on an even more relaxing air after we started a fire in the fireplace. Start to finish, OUTSTANDING. We'll go back - soon!
