    When in Louisville, don't miss the chance to stay in a grand mansion on Third Street, the centerpiece of Old Louisville - one of America's largest preservation districts. If you come during the Kentucky Derby, you can join our many guests who chose to walk. We are the closest b&b to Churchill Downs. The Columbine Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place to stay and is convenient to all major attractions. We are only 1.5 blocks north of the University of Louisville. If you go out our front door, turn left and walk five minutes, you can stand in front of masterpieces by Rembrandt, Monet, and Chagall at the Speed Art Museum. Or, you may simply want to stay "home" at the Columbine Bed & Breakfast which has over 6,300 sq.ft with gorgeous original inlaid wood floors, Honduran mahogany pocket doors, marble fireplaces, stained glass windows, two large porches, central heat/air, and all private baths. Come for a visit and bring home a great memory.

    Lovely and clean rooms in an old Louisville mansion. The owner cooks amazing breakfast! It's not cheap, but totally worth your money. Highly recommended.

    Had a great visit to visit Louisville while stayiing in this beautiful B&B. And they helped out by giving us contacts at U of Louisville to boot! Comfortable rooms, friendly owners and tastey breakfasts made our stay a very pleasant one!

    What a fabulous weekend we had at The Columbine! The food was superb and the service excellent - will definitely be making a trip back in the summertime. Thank you for such a fantastic getaway from the monotony of daily life!

    The B&B was wonderful! Beautifully furnished and wonderfully decorated for the holidays. The innkeeper was helpful, funny, and a joy to talk with!
