Enjoy the best breakfast in town in our formal Dining Room. Pam will serve you here or in the parlor if you want a change of pace. We also have an eat-in kitchen for that "Down-home" feeling!
With it's 10' ceiling, The Thoroughbred Suite features a queen-sized bed, T.V.,& a whirlpool tub w/ duel shower heads. It is located on the 1st floor so it wheelchair accessable. A sound machine is provided to help soothe you to sleep only to wake to the best breakfast in Kentucky!
Our spacious Patio will be your favorite spot to unwind and have a cool drink.
The Oak Room has the original tongue & groove ceiling that gives it that cozy feeling. It features a large bath with double sinks, large jacuzzi tub,writing desk, lounge chair, T.V., ceiling fan & lots of storage space!
Oak Room Jacuzzi tub is just one great feature about this suite. The antique double-sink gives you lots of room to spread out!
Outfitted in soft tones, The Valentine Room has a vaulted ceiling with a beautiful Palladian window. The room features a queen sized bed, rocking chair and armore for your storage needs. It's private bath features a large walk-in shower and shower seat.
The Event Room offers seating for (50) people. Plan your next wedding, rehearsal dinner, showers, party or business meeting with our full service catering by Valinda's Catering!
The Oak Room Bath gives you plenty of space to spread out and make yourself at home. It features a large Jacuzzi tub for your relaxation as well!
Enjoy the Parlor and all it's amenities. Whether playing piano, watching T.V, listening to music on the stereo, reading a book by the fire or playing games, you are sure to find some relaxation!

This gracious Victorian offers our guests 4 private rooms with private baths (some with jacuzzi tubs), just minutes from Maker's Mark Distillery. Located on the Western end of the Kentucky Bourbon Trial, guests can enjoy a delicious country gourmet breakfast in any one of our dining areas. Dine in the Parlor in front of the fire, in our country kitchen or in our elegant formal dining room. At The Hill House, our focus is on your comfort. Our spaciuos rooms are individually decorated for a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The Event Room is available for group parties up to (50) people. First floor accomodations for wheelchair access are provided. We will gladly arrange catering for your private meetings or celebrations. My husband and I try to stay at B&B's across the country when we travel so we have alot to compare The Hill House to as we travel extensively. Lisa Marie is a gracious, friendly, knowledgeable of area and an all around excellent host. We enjoyed our afternoon, night and morning in Loretto. As the afternoon trips and tours to Markers Mark, the Limstone Branch and White Moon was really awesome. The night was relaxing on the porch with a glass of wine. The morning was fabulous with the great breakfast before we had to be on our way. Highly recommend this B&B.

You are always taking a chance when you book something site unseen... and in this instance it was AMAZING. Lisa Marie was an amazing host, the breakfast was incredible, and the house is gorgeous. We only stayed one night on our way down to the Smoky Mountains, but have already told a bunch of family and friends that they need to stay there... and we will be coming back for sure!

This was our 6th stay at The Hill House, and I have to stay it would be tough to find a better B&B anywhere! It is very clean and comfortable and right at home. The rooms are very large and well decorated. The back porch is a great place to hang out after a long day on the bourbon trail, Makers Mark is a short 3 mile drive. Dont hesitant to book a stay here, you will be glad you did!

We can't say enough good things about The Hill House! We spent two nights there while visiting distilleries on the Bourbon Trail. Lisa Marie, the innkeeper, was so welcoming and made wonderful recommendations for our time there. The inn has all the amenities, including WiFi and is so comfortable. Our breakfasts were great, particularly the eggs in a nest. When leaving, we honestly felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend. Definitely want to return.

Hwy 62 runs into Hwy 150 where you will turn left and continue approx. 2 miles and past My Old Kentucky Home State Park. At the intersection of Hwy 150 & 49, turn right onto Hwy 49 South and follow the brown historical landmark signs to Holy Cross, which will direct you straight onto Hwy 527 South. Follow Hwy 527 to St. Francis (5 miles), where you will turn left onto Hwy 52 East to Loretto.
