The House is located in Lexington's Historic Northside Neighborhood, five block north of the center of town.
Breakfast at the Lyndon House is a delightful combination of great food, gourmet coffee, and lively conversation.
The architectural style of the exterior is a combination of Greek and Colonial Revival.
The Lyndon House has off street parking in the rear of the house in Brent Alley.
When you walk out of the the Parlor, you'll pass through the front Foyer facing N. Broadway - usually one of the prettiest areas in the house due to the morning sun.
Guests can enter the house through the back garden.
From the Foyer, you can head into the Sun Room that runs the length of the southwest side of the house.
When you step through the back door, you enter the Gathering Room where you'll check in at the "old English Pub," a symbol of British hospitality that perfectly reflects our Kentucky warmth and graciousness toward our guests at the Lyndon House.
The warmth and wicker furniture make it a very comfortable place to sneak away and unwind. And the six-foot windows provide all the light you need to sit and read, chat, or just relax.
The Gathering Room is a casual and very comfortable setting where guests can relax, socialize, read the paper or just plan their day.
When you look down from the staircase landing at the carved moldings and arches, you'll really begin appreciate the ingenuity and artistry of the 19th century craftsmen who trimmed out the house... it's really cool stuff!
When you look down the hall, you'll see a cozy corner where guests often relax, have a cup of tea, or read. (Paperback mysteries are provided).
While we know you will love the design of your room, some of our guests are also pretty impressed by the elegant woodworking of the door frames and moldings in the upstairs hallway.
As you can see, when the current owner renovated the Lyndon House, he went to great pains to preserve the architectural integrity of the house and historic details of the woodwork.

We were pleased with our stay overall and found the location to be a convenient 4-5 block walk to the downtown area. The beds were comfortable and the linens were great. We enjoyed walking around the area to look at other period and historical homes. I felt safe on the premises as well as the surrounding area. We stayed in the Belle Brezing room and the Bluegrass Suite.

If you miss this deadline you will be charged a Cancellation Penalty, which is one night's rent for a one or two-night stay. If you miss this deadline you will be charged 50% of the total cost of the reservation if you had booked an Extended Stay (three or more nights). Premium Season The cancellation deadline for Special Equestrian Events is 21 days prior to the check-in date (Keeneland Race Meets -- April & Oct., Rolex Three-Day Events --April, & Kentucky Derby--1st weekend in May). If you miss this deadline you will forfeit your deposit. The cancellation deadline for your entire stay during one of these Special Equestrian Events is 14 days prior to the check-in date. My wife and I spent four days here and were thrilled with our selection. The facility has lots of charm and open spaces. Anton goes out of his way to assist in any needs, and the breakfasts were good. The location is quite convenient to walk to the downtown area. Road noise in the front rooms is sometimes a problem, as it's on a busy street and emergency vehicles go by with sirens blaring. Parking in back is convenient. This place is SO much better than most Lexington hotels.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Anton was a wonderful and personable host. And I'm still savoring the thought of the blueberry pancakes for breakfast. I would recommend this B&B, and would definitely come back if in Lexington.

If you must stay away from home, the Lyndon House is where you need to be! I'm usually a little hesitant about Bed and Breakfasts' but am so tired of hotels I took a chance; one I'm glad I took. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels in LA and even Beverley Hills and I can tell you that none of them have made me as happy as the Lyndon House. The house is super clean, gorgeous decor and the propert is stunning. As I ate the delicious breakfast I watched a squirrel play in the tree outside my window. Does it really get any better? I can't say enough about it but I can say, "I'll be back!" ~ Krystena
