The Colonel's Cottage Inns and Loft offer beautiful,historic accommodations in downtown Bardstown. The John Fitch Cottage, circa 1830 is an old slave cottage, very charming in every detail. The Millstone and Pioneer Park Cottages are circa 1880 and absolutely wonderful. The Loft is the second floor of the Kentucky Bourbon House, circa 1787 and its Federalist architecture spectacular. The Pioneer Cottage can sleep 2-4 Guests. It features a master suite with a high four post queen bed,fireplace and a private bath with a double whirlpool tub. The second bedroom has twin beds and a second bath features a tub/shower.The cottage also features a living room, dining room and a non-cooking kitchen. There is a private garden with patio to enjoy and off street parking.
The Millstone Cottage, built circa 1880, is a two bedroom cottage with queen high four poster bed and a guest bed room with two high four poster twin beds. There is an exquisite spa bathroom with a double whirlpool bath and glass enclosed shower. There is a spacious living room with television and a non-cooking kitchen. The front porch and landscaped back yard are wonderful for cocktails or coffee. Very romantic ambiance.

We had a fantastic experience with the Colonel and Margaret Sue. The bourbon and dinner were fantastic and our suite in the newly finished second floor of the Ky Bourbon House was wonderful. We will stay with them again.
