My husband and I spent one night in the Courtyard Suite while we were traveling. We chose this room since it was on the first floor outside of the main building and had a hot tub. If we would have known better, we would have chosen a room located in the main building. Our room wasn't quite what we were expecting. We encountered a lot of issues involving the water and the plumbing. Things were so bad during our stay that we encountered sediment/rust in the water and an overflowing toilet. The owner told us something about the city flushing out the water system in the area. It just really turned our stomachs to see so much rust in the water when we filled up the hot tub. We just couldn't get rid of the rust. It really seemed like the rooms located in the main building were much nicer than our room. We also didn't hear anybody else mentioning anything about water or plumbing issues. We sure wouldn't want to experience something like this again. We learned our lesson during this stay.

This bed and breakfast is amazing; the rooms are beautifully decorated, the food is delicious, and the innkeeper is a true gentleman. We had to arrive very late at night after having difficulty finding satisfactory lodging in the Norton/Phillipsburg area while visiting family. The innkeeper had to have been inconvenienced by our late and unexpected arrival but he never once let on. We still felt like we were treated like royalty. We were so lucky to have found the Landmark Inn! Our only regret is that we were not able to stay longer.

My wife and made last minute reservations here because we did not want to stay in a motel. We were more then surprised with the hospitality, the room and the food. Our room was quiet, comfortable and more than adequate.

The Landmark Inn is a great find! It is extremely comfortable and casual with delicious food, located in an old converted bank. It is a beautiful building with an interesting past, and many unique details like copies of the local newspaper and an exercise room from the 1800s!

We stop here about once a year on the way to Colorado. It's a great place to spend the night in the middle of Kansas. We always appreciate the special touches.
