Just 2 hours drive north of Auckland, New Zealand and 12 km west of Whangarei, lies Lake House offering luxury accommodation for 4 guests in a spectacular lakeside setting on the slopes of Maungatapere Mountain. This purpose-built lodge is furnished with English and European antiques and paintings, a magnificent 17th century tapestry and beautiful porcelain and glass. Meals are served in the dining room at the 18th century dining table laid with Georgian silver, Spode china and fine period glassware and linen.
