I Arrived to this Bohemian Chic laid back small Resort I came with the stresses of life living in the city and as soon as I set foot there I found such a relaxed setting, the rooms were so fresh and pretty and clean and Moroccan style so soothing to the eye I love details like nice beds sheets nice soap and towels, outside are all these trees flowers fruits very jamaica the jamaica you dream of Hammocks to relax and have a drink listening to sweet sounds of reggae or just little birds singing then to top it off facing the beach took a much needed swim,the hospitality of the owner Moni and property manager Andrew they make you feel so at home and welcome cool people fun,the locals are so cool and helpful you can have local fish cooked fresh on the beach while watching the sunset right on the resort beach front and there is a shower in your room and one outside surrounded by bamboo and plants their is a kitchen as well also water sports and trips can be arranged like the ys falls also surrounding cafes on the beach very friendly relaxed atmosphere you can meditate do yoga or just feel the island vibes and also dance at the local party I felt like a new rejuvenated person my sleep was so cozy and excited to wake up eat a mango take a swim to the rising sun truly cannot wait to return to that little peace of paradise great place for family friends romance or on your own unwind as they say in jamaica feeling Irie (nice) I loved it I was the person I love to be Natural me!

Laila room
The Laila room is in the Moroccan Villa. It's our largest room, it has ocean views, double doors that open to a patio, a back door leads to the beautifully Asian style bathroom, with outdoor bamboo shower, Moroccan lantern, East Indian teak carved mirror. The Laila has two single daybeds, the first in the main room has a classic Moroccan(built in)stucco design, and second is a Indonesian carved wooden daybed in a Moroccan arch alcove. This room is large enough to accommodate up to two additional people. All Katamah rooms have free wireless internet service.

The Cabin is a new addition to Katamah and is located between the Moroccan Villa and the beach. It has ocean views and is built in a colonial style with tongue and groove boards. This open-air guestroom with its six foot screened and shuttered windows is tucked under the shade of several tall trees, keeping it wonderfully cool and breezy. The Cabin has a king-size bed which can be set up as two single beds.

To get to Katamah it's best to fly into Montego Bay, we will arrange for a driver to pick you up at the airport, and drive you south to Treasure Beach. You will have the option of going through mountains (15 minutes shorter) or along the coast both are lovely scenic drives.
