Podere le Tortore is a restored farmhouse overlooking the Antonucci family's orchard of 1000 olive trees and, beyond, an amazing panoramic view of the immense valley of the Val D'Arno. (The name, Podere le Tortore, is translated roughly as Turtledove Farm.) We have created two one-bedroom apartments in a restored granary, that are comfortable, airy, and have a simple, practical elegance and privat entrance and garden. Both are modernly equipped with modern conveniences but maintain many of the original elements. The setting is extremely suitable for a relaxed romantic holiday and is near the most important cultural sites and cities of Tuscany.

during my stay at the Fiesole university 25 years ago I fell deeply in love with the tuscan countryside and with Nicola my usband. We're lucky to live with our 2 sons in this very special environment, full of history and art, and we're happy to make you part of that during your stay.
Once e week we organize a free pizza dinner for our guests. Our sons will prepare you some real pizza, backed in our wood-burned pizza-oven.
