Visitor's tax: as we load our discount payment of taxes imposed by the city of Verona from 8/1/2012 amounting to € 2.50 per person per night. The Bed and Breakfast The Lions is set in an historic Palace with elevator in an older part of Verona, just 300 metres from the House of Romeo and Juliet and Piazza delle Erbe, antico mercato city button, now the center of nightlife from Verona. The name is derived from its proximity to the ancient porta romana, Porta Leoni begins the old town pedestrian street which leads to the wonders of Verona: the Arena, Piazza Brà, the Scaligero castle. To B&B The Lions you will find bedrooms, with possibility of adding a third bed; 2 bathrooms with shower and tub; a spacious kitchen equipped with microwave, tea and coffee machine for breakfast and a lovely terrace for the summer. Everyone has their own keys to be free to come and go when they want to. Prices are indicated per room inclusive of bed, breakfast and wifi. CHECK-IN from 13.00 to 20.00 CHECK-OUT by 11.00

By Train: Get off at Verona Main Railway Station Verona Porta Nuova. By bus: From the Main Railway Station Verona Porta Nuova catch the local bus n° 11 - 12 - 13 from “MARCIAPIEDE A”. (1,50€ you can buy the ticket on the bus-yellow box) Get off at the seventh bus stop, after the bridge, at the beginning of Via XX Settembre. Our B&B is on the opposite side of the street at the number 7. Look at the bell label – BB THE LIONS – and ring. BE CAREFULL The numbers of the buses 11 - 12 - 13 become 90 - 92 - 98 - 510 after 8 p.m., DURING THE SUMMER, on sundays and bank holidays. They still run from the same bus stops. By taxi: From the Main Railway Station Verona Porta Nuova it costs about 7 € during day-times otherwise 10 € night time Sundays and bank holidays. By car: Take A4 motorway and go out to Verona Sud exit, turn left and go down into underpass towards the city centre. Go straight for about 3 km. Drive down Corso Porta Nuova into Piazza Brà, turn right straight on to
