    My home is to be found in the sestiere di Cannaregio, very close to the Ca' d'Oro palace, in an extremely central, yet peaceful area. The palace where I live dates back to the 1700's and reflects characteristic Venetian taste: period furniture, damask materials, Venetian flooring and with a magnificent facade overlooking a typical Venetian canal, the Rio di Santa Sofia.

    The perfect romantic getaway

    December 26, 2010

    Great location - very close to the water taxi stop at Ca d'oro - but turn right instead of left to reach the alleyway - their directions are a little off and it took an extra 5 minutes to turn around and figure it out. Loved our room - nice size bedroom and bathroom. Quite romantic. FYI - don't open the window, at least in October, unless you like mosquitoes. Would return in a minute if the chance arose.

Walk right to the end of the calle at the jetty and you will find yourself in Strada Nuova: on the opposite side to you, to the right, is Calle delle Vele. At the end of the Calle is a bridge at the foot of which you will find the Al Palazzetto at no. 4057.
