B&B Belveliero - I was there for 5 nights and it's a great place if you want to base yourself in Trapani, rather than Palermo, to explore northwest Sicily. Travel connections from boats to Egadi Islands, to shuttle bus transfers to Palermo and Trapani airports are literally at the doorstep of this little choice location. Other connections to Erice, Segesta, Marsala are from the main train/bus stations just behind the B&B. As the B&B itself is located directly across the Trapani harbour, this means fabulous harbour and sea views of boats, ferries, cruise ships etc. The port isn't too busy either, so there's just enough activity to keep the area charming and buzzing but not too noisy or crowded and frantic. And the owner Giovanni, is terribly kind and helpful with all my questions on schedules, logistics etc. He also came up with suggestions (very helpful for someone who's used to just 'show up and explore') I would totally return to this place again if I ever am in Trapani again. Giovanni also lectures on tourism at a local college which makes him all the more credible in his advise and approach to managing the B&B.

We had a beautiful stay at B&B Belveliero! Our room Suite Capitano made with 2 interconnected rooms, 4 beds, bathroom ensuite, balcony sea view, was excellent for my husband, my children and I! Thanks a lot Giovanni for yours tips and suggestions that made our holiday perfect!

Once you arrive in Trapani by bus from Trapani Birgi airport or Palermo Punta Raisi airport, B&B Belveliero is located just in front of bus stop in the harbour "Via Ammiraglio Staiti" You have just going back of 50 metres and you can see on the left a building with arch in Via San Cristoforo 1 where B&B Belveliero stands out. B&B Belveliero is also in front of hydrofoils of Egadi islands (Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo).
