The historical home "La Torre degli Orsini" welcomes its guests in a wing of the sixteenth-century Palazzo Orsini, situated in the heart of the medieval village of Stimigliano, characteristic village of Lower Sabina. The Sabina, renowned for the production of extra virgin olive oil, offers a landscape that has kept over the years, made up of rolling hills, vast green fields, olive groves, but also small towns that tell about ancient cultures and traditions never abandoned, Franciscan sanctuaries and small castles. The Sabina, away from mass tourism, looks like the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday and contact with nature, which is still one step away from Rome (easily reached by motorway or rail subway).

Stimigliano stands on the top of a hill on the northern shores of the Tiber, located in front of the Monte Soratte. From the terraces of the village squares you can see the Tiber, which makes a sort of spin, "a fiasca", as is commonly defined by the population. The origins of Stimigliano are ancient. Is known, through numerous witnesses, the presence of an ancient Roman villa. In the Middle Ages was under the influence of the Papal States and, in 1368, after a period of communal freedom, Stimigliano was under the dominion of the Orsini family, which is responsible for the construction of the homonymous Palace.
