The Casa di Lola is a typical Lombard residence from the XVIII century. Ideal for business and tourism, it offers peace and relaxation. Once the home of the astronomer Ercole Dembowski, famous for the study of double and multiple stars, the B&B A Casa Lola is a great base for excursions to most major lakes of Northern Italy (Varese, Maggiore, Orta and Como). The B&B A Casa di Lola is located 18 km from Milan Malpensa airport, 48 km from Milan and about 30 km from the Swiss border. The town of Milanello (1.5 km from the B&B) is a training venue for Milan A.C. Each of the guest rooms opens onto a panoramic terrace where, on clear days, your view of the Alps centers on the Monte Rosa. In fact, Dembowski used this terrace for his astronomical observations. Below, the large porch and garden are perfect for a quiet afternoon or a romantic evening.

Solbiate Arno is located on the Milano-Varese highway (48 km from Milano and 16 km from Varese). Malpensa Airport can be reached in 20/30 minutes. Switzerland is accessible through Gaggiolo-Stabio pass in 20/30 minutes. Highway: Exit Solbiate Arno on highway A8 Milano-Varese is a couple of miles from our B&B. Coming from Milano/Varese through highway A8: 1) Take exit Solbiate Arno. 2) At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the main road SP34 towards Solbiate Arno/Carnago. Cross the first roundabout (1.0 km). 3) Turn left into via Molinello/SP34. Continue on SP34. Go through 2 roundabouts (1.4 km). 4) At the next roundabout, take the first exit on Via Montebello/SP34. 5) Continue on Via Montebello and cross a roundabout. The B&B A Casa di Lola is on the left (350m) at Via Montebello 43.
