It is close handy to both Modena and Bologna: an easy half-hour drive would see you in the centre of Bologna or Modena.and, not forgetting the famous Ferrari of course!Maranello is easy accessible as well..Fattoria L'Alpenice is a working,family-run farm,operating an modern biological principles.It offers four spacious guest-rooms equipped with air conditioning and heating system including ensuite bathrooms.The peaceful,quiet farm enviroment, with its close proximity to highway (Florence,Tuscany,Venice),make it the ideal location for both a holiday break and a business stay.The four ample rooms,which can be double,triple and quadruple are incorporated into,what originally was an old farm cowbarn. Preserving original elements of the original architecture. the rooms are furnished with old family pieces. The three upper rooms have direct access to a beautiful panoramic terrace, though windows/sliding doors.
Fresh Breakfast is prepared every morning, Lorella using local and farm products such fruit, made jam, eggs, and Parma ham, home made tortas . It 's served in a dinning area .To the arrival it is offered the aperitif: wine made on property, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Balsamic Vinegar(original!).
Fattoria l'Alpenice will hewlp you discover so mutch of the lovely things this beautiful part of Italy has to offer. The Venus of Savignano, the tiny statue of the paleolithic era, is the symbol of our village. You might also like to walk (or bicycle) along the panoramic oak "Via Monticelli" which leads down to the nearby ancient villages of Savignano sul Panaro and Vignola.
