By the way it is necessary to advice the Direction about your arriving time, sending an email or calling us. The Town House Suite is located in the historic centre of Rome, at a walking distance from the Termini Station, the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica and the Colosseum. The apartment, situated in an ancient “umbertino” building, faces a garden where “the Aquarium” (a particular building of the same period) rises. The recently renovated building, named "the Architects' House”, now houses several exhibitions. Relics of IV century B.C. Roman fortifications have been brought to light by recent excavations. The luxurious and comfortable b&b is the perfect accommodation for both tourists and business travellers thanks to its proximity to all the main attractions of the city. Roma Ciampino Airport to Termini train stations CIA is the closest airport to town, but, having a lesser number of flights landing there, it has no train connection to the center of Rome. You would have to take the Airport shuttle (about every 30 minutes) to Anagnina, the first stop of the underground Metro line A. Get off at the Termini Stop following the previous indications. Ryanair and Air Berlin have a bus service taking you to the area of the Central Train Station Roma Termini. The ticket has to be bought at a booth right in front of the arrivals at the cost of € 8 (adult) ) € 4 (child) only go and in 45 minutes you will arrive at Termini station, the follow previous indications.

    Hold Rome is in a fantastic location, less than five minutes walking from the Termini, within walking distance to the Colosseum and Roman Forum areas and many other of Rome's historic monuments. It is imporant for people booking this facility to realize that this is not a hotel. You are booking a room in a three bedroom apartment and there is no permanent reception desk so once you check in, you are on your own (which did not present any drawbacks since I could call the managers if needed and they were always responsive and helpful). I would also recommend not counting on the breakfast available (if and when included). Breakfast consists of pre-packaged croissants, coffee (you have to make it), milk, some fruit juice. For three Euro you can get a nicer option in any of the dozens of little coffee shops in the neighborhood. Overall I had a good stay and would recommend the place for the budget traveller.
