Villa Rigacci
The Villa Rigacci Hotel set among rolling hills in the large grounds of an old farmhouse, is the last word in modern luxury combined with typical Tuscan charm. Beams are visible in cealings and roof spaces. There are Tuscan terracotta tiles on the floors, bathrooms with traditional and modern fittings, period furniture from Italy and France.
Villa Rigacci was built in the late fifteenth century, and much of the original structure has been maintained, particularly in the main building. The Villa is situated up on the Tuscan hills, surrounded by the greenery of its extensive grounds, with an 24-metre pool with a bar, a park and terraces, only 10 minutes from highway and train station. South of Florence leave the A1 at the 'INCISA' exit turning right. After the exit turn right and follow the sign to 'MATASSINO'. Arriving in Matassino pass the first roundabout, at the second roundabout turn left direction Vaggio and in the center of the village turn right after the bridge. The next village is Vaggio, pass it all and at the end in a left-hand bend go straight ahead, direction 'San Giovenale', passing a small bridge at the right. Turn right at the exit and take Highway A11 direction Bologna-Roma.
After 5 km take exit to Roma Highway A1.
Leave Highway A1 at Incisa Valdarno.
