Mamma Rosa is a bed and breakfast situated in a small but typical village of Montepertuso, just above Positano. It's the perfect location for an holiday immersed in the nature, at 5 minutes from Positano and its wonderful sea. The area is very quiet and safe. Buses serve Positano, Nocelle. Parking is free. You can reach us from the road by beautiful tree-lined stairs (around 200, help will be provided with your luggage). Due to it's exclusive position you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast, the amazing Mediterranean sea, Li Galli Island (an island just off Positano, once owned by Rudolf Nureyev) and the famous Faragliaoni of Capri all from your balcony. Things to do: For trekking and hiking lovers, Positano offer some great walks with spectacular views of the coast. The 'Trail of the Gods' (Il Sentiero degli Dei) leading from Nocelle to Agerola towards Amalfi, is one of these. For beach lovers you can get to Positano's main beach in just 15 minutes by bus, and from the little harbour you can take a boat to the beaches of Arienzo, Laurito and Fornillo (you could walk to Fornillo beach, if you wish to do so). Positano is an excellent base from which to visit Amalfi, Ravello, Sorrento, Capri, Ischia, Procida, the ruins of Pompei and Herculaneum (Ercolano), Vesuvius volcano and Naples.

As the song title this b&b is really simply the best! The only two rooms are really preatty, clean and with a lot of facilities. We had a great time in positano and would like to come back soon for a whole week.
