"Dint' a Torre" Bed & Breakfast (which in the local dialect means "in the tower") is located in a 3-story house built in the 20th century, recently restored, to offer its distinguished guests a relaxing atmosphere in the heart of medieval Pontone - the "Village Museum" between Amalfi and Ravello. Located on the hillside and surrounded by lemon trees and vineyards, Dint' a Torre is just a stone's throw from the sea. A unique site offering tranquility and breathtaking, panoramic views of the blue sky, the green hills and the shimmering sea of the Amalfi Coast.

    I will certainly be back

    December 04, 2012

Whenever you plan a vacation, you always envision everything going exactly according to plan. Unfortunately most of the time that doesn't always happen, however, when my boyfriend surprised me with a trip to the Amalfi coast in Italy, everything exceeded my expectations, especially where we stayed. When my boyfriend and I arrived in Pontone we were exhausted so we couldn't have been happier when we got to our accommodations, Dint' a Torre, a cozy bed and breakfast owned by Antonio and Angela Palumbo who are apparently a distinguished and noble family originally from the enchanting Campania region of Southern Italy. They greeted us with open arms and even though they spoke little English, we had no problems communicating with them because their daughter, Maria, was only a phone call away just in case and her English is excellent. Maria did in fact offer us some great tips on where to go and what to see around the area. Antonio and Angela graciously showed us around the bed and breakfast when we arrived and then led us to our room which featured free Wi-Fi (my boyfriend still had to do some work while we were on vacation) as well as cable TV, a safe in the room (very important) and a very large (and super comfortable) bed! I really couldn't have been happier with our sleeping arrangements, it truly helped me feel as if I were immersed into the culture. The views from our room were spectacular overlooking plush green vegetation and the beautiful blue Mediterranean sea! Prior to us exploring, we were served such fresh food for breakfast that really helped us fuel our journeys. And as mentioned before, the bed was so comfortable, the perfect way to crash after a long day of wandering! What an incredible experience. I think if we stayed anywhere else I wouldn't have like the Amalfi coast as much. I highly recommend this B&B to everyone who seeks adventure, terrific views, fresh foods, a home like environment and an overall terrific stay in Italy!

    I love Pontone!

    November 05, 2012

Pontone is the most amazing little town! If you want to go back to the basics and see what Europe can be really like outside of the fake culture that’s being so widely advertised. Dint-A-Torre is a great bed and breakfast service; it’s super cheap, really nice and clean and it’s just a one of a time experience to stay there. I enjoyed everything about it, and so did my family. I’m usually not the type of person to enjoy doing stuff with her parents but this was an exception. My parents made pretty good friends with the owners, too. You don’t get that kind of a personal touch in hotels. We ate breakfast in there, it was homemade and delicious. There are places in town where you can have lunch and dinner, and they were pretty close, too. The Internet was fast and reliable, which was surprising actually. The bathroom was same as the rooms, clean and tidy. I would like to go back there someday but will have to save some money first, flying is sort of expensive.

    Dint'a Torre B&B, memorable stay

    March 03, 2012

We have stayed in the Dint'a Torre Bed and Breakfast on the 30-31 January 2012 in Pontone-Amalfi, we had a wonderful experience of peace, tranquility and very relaxing, however what impressed us the most were the warm hospitality of Antonio and Angela the owner of the BB, which they have extended to us attentive service, and served us the typical Italian produce, such home made jams, freshly backed bread, croissants and other Italian traditional pastries. Of course the view it is amazing, overlooking the COSTA AMALFITANA, with serene and Blue Ocean, we were also fortunate that during our stay everyday we had clear and sunny days. We recommend to anyone to visit this special and divine place, please ensure you book well in advance as they are always full. Michelle and Antonio

A superb two-days getaway in Pontone!

    January 01, 2012

There is nothing, really nothing that could have been managed any better during our recent stay at Dint' A Torre. Our two nights in gorgeous Pontone under the loving care of Antonio and Angela Palumbo were the very best. Too short unfortunately! If they will have us back - with the terrible teens in tow - we look forward to a follow-up visit. Best of the best! DINT' A TORRE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!
