  • B&B Il Fauno Pompei Video: Il Fauno is a peaceful top class bed & breakfast opened in November 2008. The house was built in the 70s and recently renovated. You will find a home-to-home atmosphere with a comfortable and relaxed ambience. The B&B is composed of 3 rooms furnished with personality and essential style, healed in all details in order to offer total comfort. All the rooms are provided with in-room private bathrooms, air conditioning, heating, mini-fridge, LCD TV, safety deposit box, wireless internet connection, soundproof doors, hairdryer, mirrors, courtesy kit, linens and towels. A delicious buffet breakfast is available in the separate dining room. Breakfast includes typical products of the area, fresh pastries, fruit juices, coffee, corn flakes, yogurt in different flavours, cakes. Guests can rest in our Relax Room equipped with a 32 flat screen satellite TV, a choice of best movies, library, free laptop with internet connection and webcam.

    Il Fauno Bed & Breakfast is a peaceful top class B&B opened in November 2008, close to the Ruins of Pompeii and the Sanctuary. Guests can relax in the small, furnished garden which has a children’s play area. There is an outdoor pool featuring a large sunbathing area with sun beds. Bikes can be rented on-site. You must know that B&B the Fauno is placed in an optimal geographic position will allow that you to plan the more interesting routes for your vacations in Campania,leaving your car in our parking : it is 1,5 km from the archaeological site of Pompeii, and is just 500 mt. from the station of the Vesuviana, where you can easily reach Sorrento, Naples, Herculaneum, Amalfi Coast, Positano, Ravello, the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida, Vesuvius. Behind the station, just follow the road left the Church direction Stadium and in 5 minutes walk (500 meters) to get to our bed and breakfast (near the Stadium of Scafati) By car: From the motorway A3 – Naples-Reggio Calabria (direction SALERNO)-take exit Scafati-Pompei Est, emerging from the exit, turn right and continue for 300 meters towards Scafati Center, then turn the first left onto Via Martiri of Hungary after 150 meters turn right pass the overpass and turn left continue along Via Capone at the end of the road turn right and proceed for 400 meters, at one point there’s a roundabout, continue for another 50 meters (find us on your right near the Stadium of Scafati).     Great place to stay. Upon arrival, the owners greeted us home-made cakes and a shot of liqueur. They also provided us with a very helpful information booklet with everything you'd beed to know about the area. They had convenient secure parking, an amazing breakfast, really clean rooms. Everything felt very homely and comfortable. There's an amazing pizza place down the road for dinner (they also do pastas).

    Well worth the 40 minute train trip out of Naples, clean and a breath of fresh air. Hosts couldn't have done more for us including home made cake and cool juice on arrival. Room was spacious and quiet, the local pizza restaurant was also great value. If you are thinking of staying in Naples as a base for exploring, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Sorrento etc, make the trip and stay here instead.

    Arrived a earlier than planned and felt immediately made welcome. Breakfast was of a high standard and Eduardo's mothers cakes were wonderful. The welcome pack was a superb idea and we were very happy to have it. (Maps, guide to the area etc) The family room was large in size clean and adequate for our needs. We were watching DVD's on a laptop, when coming back after a day trip a DVD player had appeared. Wonderful customer service. Would have been nice to have wifi in the family room, without having to go into the breakfast room. The only minor complaint is the area surrounding the B+B, imagine latin America and you'd be close. However once you meet the people they take your heart. Absolutely superb people. I left every restraunt with a full belly and not much spent out of 20 euro! My car felt safe and so did my belongings. Recommended A-, little more would get you the full A+. Spot on for the money. Loved this b+b :)

    We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this B&B. It is absolutely beautiful. Eduardo was kind enough to drive us into town on his way to run some errands. The breakfast area is spacious and comfortable. We were thrilled that it was within walking distance of the ruins.
