'La Chioccia' is a typical Umbrian stone country house or 'casale' which has been lovingly restored by the owners using traditional materials and beautiful furnishings. Today, 'La Chioccia' boosts all modern comforts, including wi-fi internet access, central heating and airconditioning. The grounds are immaculately tended, and the swimming pool and adjacent roofed terrace overlook a valley covered with olive groves and oak woods. Our guest rooms have beautiful beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors and traditional wooden furniture, respecting the character of the ancient farmhouse this property was once part of. The small scale of our B & B - we only lodge one couple at a time - is a guarantee for tranquility and privacy. The property is situated in a beautiful, sparsely populated green valley, some 20 min from Terni, the provincial capital, and about one hour north of Rome.
