We have chosen a distinctive name for our bed & breakfast to put the emphasis on Sicily’s characteristic colours and perfumes, and at the same time pay a tribute to its Arab culture. Hence the name Az-zahar (ancient Arabic for orange blossom), the flower of the plant that made Sicily famous throughout the world. We will be delighted to host you in Az-zhar bed & breakfast and to offer you a cosy and peaceful accommodation, ideal for relaxing and experience Palermo at best .
The flat, furnished in ethnic style, includes three large and bright double bedrooms inspired to our island’s typical colours. Our bedrooms - The sun bedroom, the sea bedroom, the heart bedroom - are tastefully furnished; their design make them comfortable and relaxing. All bedrooms are provided with air conditioning, heating, TV, and a desk. Furthermore, the Sun bedroom benefits from a balcony that will allow you to view and enjoy the city from above. The Sea room has a balcony too which overlooks an internal courtyard. Our guests will have access to a comfortable bathroom complete of all accessories. Our guests will benefit from a good size living room, ideal to relax, recharge and meet with fellow b&b guests whenever wished so. Breakfast is served in the living room. You can ask for it to be customised to suit your own taste and/or to try some of our delicious typical cakes. Room service is available on request at no extra charge. We’ll do our best to make you will feel at home, with a welcoming atmosphere from the beginning of your day.
