Perfect for your holidays in Italy near Lake Garda, the Villa San Pietro Bed and Breakfast is a recently restored 1600 Villa retaining all of its original character. It is in a particularly calm location in the centre of Montichiari, 13 km from Desenzano on Lake Garda and it is run by a young Italian-French couple. At the guests’ disposal there is a frescoed-ceiling living room with a satellite TV, a common area with a fridge, private parking, a secluded garden with deck chairs and tables, a marbled-columned loggia where you can read a nice book in the summer nights. In February 2005 some restoration works started in a second frescoed ceiling living room. A few original frescoes of 1500 were discovered and the restoration works continued for a few months and ended in September 2005. We are very proud of them! Five tennis courts and an Olympic swimming pool (indoor & outdoor) only 2 minutes walking distance from the Villa. Two golf courses are located nearby (10 miles & 15 miles), one of which is a Jack Nicklaus Jr. design. Breakfast shall be served in the frescoed ceiling room or in the garden, but most of all, at Villa San Pietro you will find a family environment, a relaxing atmosphere: Anna and Jacques will do their best to make your stay unforgettable and let you feel at home away from your home…

On prends parfois un risque en réservant pour une longue période, nous on l'a pris et on ne regrette pas. Jacques et Anna vous reçoivent comme des amis, disponibles présents ils sont à l'écoute et l'affût de votre confort et de votre bien être tout en restant d'une remarquable discrétion. A little bit of heaven. We stayed a week at the inn and could spend a year there! Jacques and Anna are most helpful, kind and warm. The rooms are great and you will not find a better place to stay! We are ready to go back again.

We have just returned from a week in beautiful Montichiari. Anna and Jacques were cordial and attentive hosts. Montichiari was a good central point for visiting Milan, the Garda Lake region, Verona and Mantova. Anna and Jacque provided useful tips and travel information and thier lovely property was like coming home after a day of site seeing, warm and friendly. Be sure to ask Anna to prepare one of her delicious meals for you.

Jacques is 45 years old, is French and since September 2004, he is also Italian, he was previously Officer in the French Army where he served for 9 years. Anna is Italian and she is 45 years old too. She used to be a Professional Translator and Interpreter in English, French and Spanish until she started with her husband this fabulous and fun activity: running a B&B and opening their home to the entire world! After living in France for 3 years, they settled in Montichiari.
