In centre of Montevarchi, in the heart of Valdarno, centrally located between Arezzo, Siena and Florence, at the gates of Chianti, only 10 minutes walk from the train station. Casa il Pino is situated in the middle of a private fenced property with a biological vegetable garden, from which guests can gather fresh fruits and vegetables. Casa il Pino relfects deep love for art and nature of the owners, the well groomed garden offers afternoons spent in the shade of the olive trees. - Paola is a retired art professor and now spend her time painting in the atelier located on the property, her art is decorating the walls of the rooms. The guest quarters are located, on the ground floor (3 steps to go in) and have a private entrance and a private garden.

This exceeded all my expectations, the room, the garden, the fresh vegestables, the homemade marmalade, the kindness of the owners and most of all the place. So easy to get to everything, the Chianti hills, Siena, Firenze, Arrezzo- everything nearby. And of course Prada as close neighbour. I can recommend this place to everybody for its cleaniness, wonderful beds and sheets, lovely bathrooms and wonterful private veranda in the garden.
