The building (film) is surrounded by a large garden filled with typical Mediterranean flora, with flower beds and rose gardens, brooms, which offers a panoramic view that spans from Montepulciano vineyards that produce the Vino Nobile from the Valdichiana at the medieval village of Montefollonico up for a glimpse of the Temple of St. Biagio, Antonio da Sangallo the elder, one of the most evocative works of Italian Renaissance architecture.The farm is within easy reach of the trail network paths for trekking enthusiasts and for those who love to walk in the nature. Recently restored, respecting the original architectural features, Poggio al Sole is made from traditional style farmhouse Siena and three two-room apartments, called "Cherry" and "Broom", and one three-room named "Poplar". All the apartments are extremely comfortable and pleasant, consist of one or two rooms with double bed, bathroom with shower, a spacious living room with comfortable living room sofa beds and a kitchenette with 4 gas rings, fridge, microwave and all necessary utensils. Outside, are at guests ' disposal a large garden with sun loungers, a wood-fired oven, a cute brick barbecue and swimming pool. Poggio al Sole can be the destination for a relaxing holiday, but also the starting point for tours and excursions to nearby towns of Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, Arezzo and Perugia or get to know places less frequented as Monticchiello, Bagno Vignoni or s. Albino, where you will find a fully equipped spa that also offers services for maximum wellbeing.
