Typical Tuscan house with medieval origin and a lot of charm, in the picturesque village of Montecarlo near Lucca. The spacious bedrooms, double or triple rooms, with private bathrooms, are bright and pleasant, suitable also for families with children. On the ground floor there is the beautiful and large kitchen with an ancient stone sink and big fireplace always at the guests ' disposal. The Antica Casa Naldi is a perfect place to discover the authentic Tuscany, living in a typical quiet village complete with its traditions, but near the most important cities of the region including Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Its strategic location also allows you to reach the Versilia coast and the mountains of the Garfagnana.

From 2008 we manage the Antica Casa Naldi; We are Antonella di Lucca and Miriam of Augsburg (Germany). We met with our twins, who were born two days apart from each other in 1995, all males. In addition to the friendship we have combined our ideas to ourselves what we like best: give hospitality to those who want to discover our beautiful Tuscany.

Motorway A11 Firenze-Pisa Nord; get off at ALTOPASCIO and follow the signs on the right, towards PESCIA and MONTECARLO. When you reach the small village of MARGINONE go slowly to notice the left turn, (not to skip the sign to MONTECARLO). Drive straight up the hill aprox. 1.5 km to reach MONTECARLO. When you arrive into the village, to reach the center, you must go right then make two left turns. Go straight on until you are facing the church, Via Cerruglio will be on your right side, the Antica Casa Naldi is number 5 on the left side towards the end. You can get to the house only to unload your luggage, parking is available outside the wall within a 2-5 minute walk.
