The Fox and the Moon is a Bed and Breakfast of new conception. Open and sensitive to respect for nature, built in full respect of the surrounding environment. The combination of new technology and ancient materials create an experience unique in its kind, sensitive boundary increasingly stressed and man's distorted today. For the construction of our facility, have been used microporizzato type blocks with vegetable meal, outer coat in natural cork, plasters in natural lime coloured with mineral pigments, ventilated roof with wooden Cork insulation. The lumber used in the construction was impregnated and protected with natural products made by Solas. Hot water is supplied by solar panels and the heating of the guest rooms is designed with low-consumption electric radiators installed concealed: this system is a radiant wall heating by radiation and convection, not without raising dust. We just installed a photovoltaic system to produce the energy needed for heating and production of hot water in winter.
