Family owned for over half a century, Podere la Piana is located on a private mountain in the picturesque Tuscan countryside.

Just a short hike from the charming medieval town of Fivizzano, our fabulously preserved, original stucco farmhouse is within a day trip's proximity to all of the delights that Tuscany has to offer. From the vineyard dappled hills of the lush countryside to the beautiful seaside destinations of the Mediterranean, such as Cinque Terre, La Spezia, & the Gulf of Versilia. The historically rich sites of Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, & the Marble Caves of Carrara can easily be reached by car or by train with plenty of time to enjoy them and find yourself at home again, in the comfort of our well furnished suites, before the sun sets.

Our guests are free to explore the grounds of our stunning mountainside B&B. We have a lovely garden & large BBQ area, water fountain, pond, vineyard, olive groves, herb garden, free-range livestock, and a 250 year old pine tree.

    Take the A15 motorway from Aulla following signs for Fivizzano on the SS63 leading to the Cerreto Pass. After about 8 km, in Rometta, follow the signs for Moncigoli at the second fork. When you reach Moncigoli, you will come to a three-way intersection with a small white statue on the corner, take the road marked Bigliolo, Pratolungo (there is a sign marked Agriturismo la Piana, for our farmhouse). After 800m Podere la Piana is on the left

Keep right at the fork, follow signs for La Spezia/Aulla and merge onto Viale Lunigiana - 0.5 km 9. Turn left at Via Alessandro Salucci/SS62 - 0.076 km 10. Turn right at Via Nazionale/SS62 - 0.7 km 11. Turn left to stay on Via Nazionale/SS62 - 0.1 km 12. Turn left at Via del Popolo/SS63 Continue to follow SS63 - 9.5 km 13. Follow the signs for Fivizzano on the SS63 leading to the Cerreto Pass - 10 km 14. After about 8 km, in Rometta, follow the signs for Moncigoli at the second fork - 8 km 15.
