With an ideal location in the historic center of Ischia, Ischia Ponte, Villalieta is perfect for those seeking relaxation and thermal spas, a cultural tourism experience and for diners fancying local Mediterranean cuisine and an array of fresh seafood. Ischia Ponte boasts a vast selection of restaurants, cafes, boutiques, galleries and shops including antiques and local artisans. Ischia Ponte, once known as the Borgo of Celsa, was the first populated center on the island and the setting for the Neapolitan Revolution in 1799. A stroll around the area expounds antique buildings, churches and basilicas dating back even to the 1300's, small winding streets, balconies, small squares and gardens- all on the sea front just steps away from the magnificent Aragonese Castle. The celebration of the patron saint S. Giovan Giuseppe is held in the borgo the first week of September, offering an enjoyable festival of folklore and tradition.

      From Napoli Central Station you can take a taxi or bus to Molo Beverello. Bus tickets can be purchased at the train station. From Molo Beverello you can take hydrofoils to Ischia Porto, it takes only 45 minutes. From Napoli Porta Di Massa you can take ferries to Ischia Porto, it takes 1.30 minutes. Ones you arrive in Ischia Porto you can get either taxi or bus to reach Villa Lieta. Taxis are available upon each hydrofoil or ferry arrival. Ischia Porto to Ischia Ponte is approximately 1.5 km. By Bus: A direct bus from Ischia Porto to Ischia Ponte is available immediately in front of the port and only takes a max of 15 minutes to reach us. You need to get off at the last stop in Piazzale Aragonese right in front of the Castle. Villalieta is just behind you. Chauffeur service: Chauffeurs are available upon request when you make your booking.
