La Burlanda is a family-run organic agriturismo set in the splendid Lunigiana, very close to the Cinque Terre national nature reserve and to the Apuan Alps. Three rooms and two apartments have been created in the recently renovated old country home. In the restaurant you can try out the organically grown produce from the adjoining farm (wine, oil, honey, cured meats, vegetables) as well as zero food mile products. Careful restoration of an old country farmhouse has resulted in the creation of the rooms and the apartments, constructed as far as possible using natural, local materials like Carrara marble, Tuscan terracotta and chestnut wood. The rooms are large and welcoming, they all have air-conditioning, their own interest and spacious bathrooms. All the furnishings are fine quality, including the orthopaedic mattresses and pillows. The apartments have a fully-equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, fridge), a large living room with sofa bed and wood-fired stove, elegant bathroom, a double room and another room with two single beds; the facility is completed by a scenic terrace that is perfect for summer lunches and dinners. Guests at the zero food mile restaurant can taste the organic farm products typical dishes of Tuscan tradition. The adjoining farm produces oil, biodynamic wine, cured meats, honey and preserves.

Take the Sarzana exit from the A12 motorway and continue towards the settlement of Bradia and then towards Giucano-Fosdinovo. At the Sarzana motorway exit, turn right to go to Carrara, travel about 1 km and you will arrive at the 3rd roundabout, turn left in the direction of Sarzana centre, follow the road to the settlement of Bradia and then towards Giucano-Fosdinovo. Before arriving in Giucano you will see Via Fabiano on your right and the sign for the agriturismo.
