N4U Guest House

We stayed in the Gray Room and it was larger than expected. Phillip checked us in and gave us suggestions for where to eat and was very helpful with reservations to the museums. He suggested a restaurant for dinner that I had read about in Food and Wine and made a reservation for before our trip. It is across the street from the B&B and was wonderful. The room was comfortable and the location was perfect for anything that you would want to do in Florence. The architecture and frescos in the B&B were worth the stay but the staff and location make it easy to recommend to anyone.

bello, centralissimo, pulito! unico inconveniente che ho riscontrato è che ti viene chiesto l'orario per il servizio della colazione in camera (che va dalle 08.30 alle 09.30) ho aspettato fino alle 10.00 e non si è visto nessuno! ho reclamato e molto gentilmente si sono scusati! La colazione è stata comunque stata pagata!!!!!!!!

Our stay at N4U was only a night. After warmy welcoming of Simone, We tree were surprised by the room (a room of those in a palace). It was nice To have the outdoor key, so we were like entering our house at Florence. I highly recommend N4U for you all that want to feel himself alevisi. Not To mention the good situation.

We stayed for 3 night in other structure of the same group of charming townhouses. Last night the management has moved us in N4U, couse they were already fully booked, and what a surprise!!! N4U is an hidden gem , full of city center and all the rooms are amazing. Every room has a different color and are very comfortable. From your window you might look at bargello museum and the rest of historic center. We are very happy to have discovered , even if just the last night , this incomparable guesthouse!!! thank you !

Veramente strepitoso! Posizione perfetta.... Palazzo e camere uniche e bellissime. Che dire, non mi aspettavo che una guest hosue potesse essere cosi bella e curata, soprattutto arredata con cosi tanto gusto. Complimenti, tornerò a trovarvi presto sia per i miei impegni di lavoro sia per un viaggio romantico!!

Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo passato le prime 3 notti della nostra vacanza a firenze in questo B&B bellissimo del centro. La 4° notte ci siamo spostati in altro B&B sempre della stessa proprietà il Black 5 ( abbiamo espresso anche li il nostro commento ottimo). N4U è veramente un posto ideale per soggiornare a firenze assaporando il fascino degli affreschi originali e gli arredi in stile toscano...la cosa che più ci ha entusiasmato , oltre alla colazione servita in camera tutte le mattine è la posizione super centrale comoda per non aver bisogno dell' auto per girare firenze. Grazie a tutto lo staff per il loro supporto per questa vacanza indimenticabile.

We were a party of 4 & shared 1 room (plenty of room for all of us & luggage) - king size bed (comfortable) & 2 Murphy twin beds (not comfortable). Take a taxi to & from the hotel, it will be the best money spent instead of driving around to find the parking garage (not a good idea to drive in Florence anywhere..). Be prepared to walk up 4 flights of stairs. The bathroom is down the hall from the room (nice bathroom & shower) - they do provide slippers and bathrobes which was a nice surprise. Nice location for seeing all the sights you want to see in Florence - you can walk to them all. The office staff work limited hours, so when you check in, you basically are checked out (we spent only 1 nite, so I don't know if that's the norm) - they used the credit card I made the reservation with. We had a noisy street, but that's life in the big city!

Beautiful place in center of Florence. All the rooms have a different set up and colours and they are amazing....The Guesthouse is a few steps from all main attractions and you never need to take a taxi or bus. Very super helpful Staff. They have made lots reservation in Museums and restaurant for us during our stay. N4U is a perfect location for a romantic gateway in florence. Also realy romantic the breakfast served in the room every morning. From the first minute I felt like as at home ....I will never forget Florence and N4U guesthouse

Le stanze sono spaziose, splendidamente arredate e decorate, luminose e pulite. Una ristrutturazione con i fiocchi in questo palazzo d'epoca. Le camere sono arredate secondo temi diversi. Ho alloggiato per 4 giorni nella "China" (meravigliosa) e il direttore, gentilissimo, mi ha mostrato altre camere libere che mi sono piaciute altrettanto. La location magnifica. Il personale davvero professionale. Servizio impeccabile.

Avevo abitato a Firenze ma era la prima volta che citornavo da turista con la mia famiglia. Siamo stati ospiti di questa guest house situata in posizione centralissima, praticamente alle spalle del duomo. Il posto è incantevole, le camere sono tutte colorate e l'atmosfera che si respira è qualcosa di raffinato ma allo stesso molto familiare. Cordialità e soddisfazione del cliente sono il punto forte della struttura. Da non perdere la colazione in camera. Ti senti coccolato e.....non vorresti più andar via. Consigliato sia alle coppie che alle famiglie.

Posto incantenvole nel centro di Firenze!! Sono rimasto soddisfatto dell'ospitalità,della pulizia e soprattutto della comoditàper andare in centro!! Servizio ottimo sopra le aspettative! Consiglio vivamente per soggiorni romantici ma anche per passare un weekend in questa splendida città!

la posizione è ottima,50 metri dal duomo.il difetto principale sono le 4 rampe di scale.e' un secondo piano ma di un palazzo antico, quindi le rampe sono 4 perchè si devono considerare i piani ammezzati.le camere sono proprio come le foto ma il corridoio è grigio, un pò di colore in più non guasterebbe.Considerate che è un appartamento antico, alcune camere( ad esempio quella che avevo io) avevano veri affreschi sui soffitti, belle, non eccezionali cm uno si aspetterebbe ma cmq belle.il bagno è esterno alla camera, privato ( ce ne è uno per camera ma cmq si trova nel corridoio).questo perchè ovviamente la planimetria è quella di una casa.Cmq lo consiglierei soprattutto perchè io me la sono cavata con 40 euro a notte compresa la colazione!qualità prezzo --buon rapporto

Beautiful B&B in Florence center, perfect for our weekend stay, and very welcoming atmosphere with breakfast served in the room. Absolutely loved the decor and interior design in the old "palazzo fiorentino". Can only be recommended.

Our room at n4u was absolutely stunning, spacious and with high ceilings --- though we got a peek at some of the other rooms one morning and we definitely had the biggest one, so if you want a really huge space you should request that one specifically. Fulvio (the owner) was gracious and helpful, though never in our face. He's also very knowledgeable about the city, so if you're looking for a specific type of place/museum/restaurant you should definitely ask him. The house is centrally located --- it took us 10 minutes to walk there from Santa Maria Novella train station, even loaded down with our bags. It's a great thing when you're sightseeing, since getting anywhere and returning to the hotel is so easy. But the one downside is that it's not the quietest place at night, especially in the summer, when there are lots of people out and about. But it's a small price to pay for that location, and if you're generally not a super-light sleeper it shouldn't be a problem. All in all, I would recommend n4u for couples or people traveling in small groups who want an amazing locationand who don't need all the bells and whistles of standard hotels.

A friend and I recently stayed at N4U Guest House Florence for the weekend and loved it! The rooms were very comfortable and nicer then the pictures show and the staff was wonderful... with the nightly aperitif which was a perfect way to start the evening. The hotel is perfectly located between Dome and Uffizi. I would definitely recommend this Boutique hotel to anyone .They also provide a discount if you book their special offer trough Official Web Site , it’s very affordable!!! you will love staying here and being in Florence!!

We stay 2 day in N4U Guesthouse for working and we have been a great stay in Florence. The Inn is really convenient , clean and super furnished. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was helpful . We recommend to all this structure in center of Florence also for a really convenient rates compare to others solution. N4U Guesthouse is a wonderful Inn and B&B, very well situated in center of Florence, clean, spacious and really more than a Hotel . High professional staff. Just over the corner from the Duomo, and at 30 meters from Uffizi Gallery. You can see also the Bargello Museum and the Dome from the windows. Wireless internet and Minibar in the room. This was a fantastic unique bed and breakfast and our room was amazing. I highly recommend it to everyone. We have been parked our car in the park behind the Dome at 1 minute walking from N4U Guesthouse. It wasn't expensive at all. You can also buy for 15e all the minibar’s content , it’s a great chance . Lots of restaurants just down in Via del Proconsolo , for convenient value and great food . We also took the Tuscany and wine" Tour" it was fantastic. I would recommend this trip and N4U guesthouse to everyone.

Me and my friends have stayed at N4U B&B for 3 nights . It is located in center of Florence 5 minutes walking from the main Station. Very convenient value . The first night we stayed in two rooms , and the remaining two nights we stayed in a quadruple room. Both of them rooms were wonderful. The Paris Pearl room is amazing , bed and bathroom were large. The Guest House is at 2nd floor in a XIV Century Palace in front of Bargello Tower. The private bathroom offsuite , just in front of the room ( they have also room’s with ensuite baths ) but it is not a problem , it is private for your own , was lovely all orange Painting with a large shower . The Quadruple room was huge and all decorated , it was perfectly fine for 4 people. I would recommend to all friends N4U Guest House . The staff were highly professional and attentive to our every need. The service was impeccable. The breakfast was nice served every morning in the room , free of charge. Espresso was delicious. They do have fresh fruit, yogurt, and any type of jam . N4U B&B is very nice and the staff is wonderful. I would recommend you staying here when in Florence. P.S. If you need to do laundry, there is a wonderful self-service laundry not far. Ask also , if you prefer to Lorenzo for Laundry room- service with an add cost. WiFi internet is high speed and very cheap , 7 euro for 24 h connection.

That's the place to be in florence. Charming and trendy...step out the door and you're in front of the cathedral. I couldn't believe it myself! anyway...thanks to the owners, Silvia and the super funny Lorenzo, a fantastic stay! Room very big and amazingly decorated, very original! Bed massive and very comfy. Plenty of space around to get ready. Very good breakfast, plenty of choice, served in a colourful room. A very very nice stay, thanks very much! N4U is the best choice in Florence!

NICE STAY IN FLORENCE, GOOD ROOM, NICE ROOM, AND GOOD BREAFAST. COUD BE A SMALL TABLE IN THE ROOM TO HAVE BREAKFAST

We stayed at N4U Guest House last Saturday night and loved it. The location was excellent, only 3 minutes walk from Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo Square and overlooking the main street of Florence. The rooms were fine, trendy and charming , very nice bedding and spacious rooms . But the main point that will stick in our memories was the super friendly and helpful Staff. From the moment we arrived they explained the local attractions and bus routes, recommended restaurants, bars and clubs and then showed us the room. Their English is excellent ! We had access to our room early, from 14:00, and then on the day we checked out we have left our lugagge all day ! Our room overviews on the Bargello Tower full of center of Florence but due of double glazing there was no noise. The other major point was the amazing room’s ceilling painting and charming atmosphere ! Overall an excellent Guest House with a top location and excellent customer service.

N4U Guest House is a very special place and realy charming Guesthouse. It's location is excellent! Walked everywhere in Florence from here. Around the corner from Bargello Musum, few steps to Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, The China Room was beautiful, All the Staff were charming and hospitable, offering great friendly service and fabulous espresso! The fact that we slept in an XIV century building (beautifully restored) was one of the highlights of our week in Florence. Very Important , ask to visit all others Rooms… are fabulous

Our stay at N4U GuestHouse was superb from start to finish. The House is just beautiful like stepping back in time to the days when houses in Florence were aristocratic and elegant. The rooms were a very good size, ceilings painted , cosy and warm and the shower in the orange bath was amazing. The breakfast in the room was very romantic!! Hot croissants and very nice Espresso!! N4U GuestHouse is fabulous located in Center of Florence and in easy reach of all Museums. Our host was gracious and was the perfect compliment to a lovely house. I will definitely be recommending N4U GuestHouse to my friends and look forward to returning myself.

L'atmosfera è bellissima,la struttura si trova proprio nel cuore di Firenze, le camere sono tutte diverse. Noi eravamo in quella più grande, questa che si vede nella foto a sx, che è stupenda ed immensa. Anche se si affaccia sulla strada è molto silenziosa. Ritornerò presto!

Very beautiful place, clean. People who manage N4U are very nice and warm! The B&B is very near the Duomo and the center.

We used to be in Florence and we have never seen a beautiful Place as N4U Guest House . The Guest House is at 1 minute walking distance from Uffizi Gallery and Duomo Place. Each room is different from others and atmosphere is very hip. Best Place reccomended to all who serch a cool place in the historic center of florence. Hallo to everybody in N4U Guest House.

n4u is one of the best place where we have been in florence . Our room called Miami Green was immaculate, and also the large green bath with amazing shower was absolutely great. You can also reserve your prefered breakfast in your room, and it's very romantic. Our stay at the N4U Guest House was wonderful in every way. Staff was helpful, cheery and on top of details . The perfect place to stay in the center of Florence close to all main attractions. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with painted ceilings and original furnishings. There are parking facilities in the immediate vicinity of the guest house. Elderly people might find the steps a bit tiring.

The rooms are just beautiful. We had two rooms here and just loved them. Great location if you want to be in the centre of Florence. Only negative we found was that there is no lift, and lots of stairs to the apartment, but if your luggage is not heavy then this is not really an issue.

my girlfriend and i went to florence for a long weekend. we stayed at the N4U Guest House in the historical heart of florence. a charming guest house stylish and cosy, great service we loved our room called "Miami Green" very confortable bed and big bathroom with shower all green painted. the guy at the reception was very helpful and was able to book for us a nice restaurant and museums. we also had a great day at the next door spa that they reserved for us. i'm coming back for sure! N4U is definetely very hip place!

Wonderful discovery in the heart of the city. Within walking distance to most of the historical sites, this charming guesthouse - with its eclectically decorated rooms - is THE place to stay if you are not looking for the standard hotel service yet want a quality one! And Ephrem - the house keeper, is just so charming and professional!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the N4U guest house in Florence and loved it. The room we stayed in (the Red China Room) was HUGE and had a painting on the ceiling from the 1700's and a 1930's Murano glass chandelier. It was absolutely beautiful. We also got our own private bathroom (which is not attached but is only a few steps down the hall) which was very clean and nice. Breakfast was very good. The attendant (I forgot his name) was very pleasant and helpful and spoke English. We loved it. Here are the only few downsides: 1)it is a long walk up to the third floor with no elevator, 2)there is no A/C and the noise from the street is loud at night, and 3)it was a bit pricey (we paid 150euro per night), especially compared to a hostel. But if you want to spend a bit more and have a great place to stay I would definitely recommend N4U Guest House.

Just a note that there are a number of stairs to climb (no lift), which wasn't a problem for me, but was for my 65 yr old mother. Other than that, be sure you have a working cell phone once you get to the doors of N4U to call them...buzzing up doesn't mean they will answer the door anytime soon, and you may be left standing out front with your suitcases. I was later getting there than expected, so there was no one waiting for me when I did arrive. The guy who worked in a leather store next door was really, really nice and called them for me (my cell phone completely died just before I got there). Once they let me in everything was great. No tv or radio in the Paris Pearl room, but the room was large and the beds were surprizingly comfortable (size and comfort were much better than the boutique hotel I later stayed at in Rome, and paid double for!). Breakfast was simple, but good, and brought directly to our room at the agreed upon time every morning. Bathroom was down the hall, but private, and shower was better than I expected. I would definitely recommend staying here...price can't be beat for a nice place! Bring ear plugs (that goes for most hotels in Florence and Rome) as it is in an excellent location on a main road, and is therefore noisy at night. Once the ear plugs were in, I was fine.

In full of center of florence N4U is a wonderfull place where to stay for your holliday, me and my husband were in a room called London Grey, all the rooms have a name, what a nice idea!! Room were fantastic , double windows with view on center of town. Bath were new and beautiful with a large shower and all comfort. Breakfast served all morning , in room , with hot brioches!!!! We suggest N4U in florence to my all friends! Thank you for the best time in florence!

Nel cuore di Firenze abbiamo trovato un meraviglioso Bed&Breakfast.. stile unico nell'arredamento per quanto riguarda accostamenti moderni e non!! Peccato che da raggiungere non sia facilissimo (ZTL) però è comodissimo per visitare comodamente la città. Ottima l'idea dei nomi abbinata ai colori delle camere!!Noi eravamo nella Florence ma ho avuto l'occasione di vedere sia su internet che dal vivo la China e per il mio gusto è sicuramente la migliore!Spero di tornarci in una prossima occasione! Tutto davvero ottimo (tranne l'odore un pò troppo intenso di una specie di incenso nel corridoio!!)

Great location very close to many attractions; large clean rooms; we were a bit surprised by the private bathroom down the corridor; dining isn't offered hence the low rating for that criteria; welcome was very good; hotel is at the top of some long flights of stairs.

it is not only the central location, amazing fresco painting on the ceiling and very intersting decoration that make N4U an excellent choice. it is also the very warm and gentle way that the owner and the keeper of the house will treat you and make you feel that you are their guest and not just another hotel customer. an excellent value for money

N4U it's amaizing, everything is good, perfect and clean. If i have to stay again in a place in florence, for sure will be N4U. The rooms are the best thin, everything is new, and the it is cleaner than your own house, and all of this just to 3 minutes walking to the main monuments in florece. 10 points for u N4U.

We stayed at the n4u guesthouse for a few days, the bad & breakfast is in the city center and has an excellent location. The rooms are wreally beatiful, the interior design and every detail are outstanding. But, unfortunately we where very disappointed buy the fact that the bathrooms are outside the rooms, and You have to pass the hall to get to them. Considering that Florence is full of gorgeous hotels, for the price that we paid, it is possible to find us beautiful rooms but with en-suite bathrooms.
