    Villa Murray is a luxury B&B in a XVI century Villa, immersed in the Tuscan countryside, at the gates of Chianti district and just minutes from Florence. It is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday with all amenities. The villa has a swimming pool overlooking the hills, private parking, large park with wood and vineyard. Inside you will find large rooms with private bath, TV and internet DSL access, breakfast lounge, living room with large screen and DVD projector. Many available services: wine tasting, cooking classes, laundry service, museum reservations, car rentals and custom tours.

    Before I was used to be a researcher in biology, now I'm a mom and I'm "managing director" of a small company: my family.     Spent a quick week touring Rome, Florence and a small part of Tuscany in November 2009. We had the opportunity to spend 3 nights at Villa Murray. It was wonderful. Our host Sylvia was warm and accomodating from the time we arrived till our departure. Our room was roomy and spotless, breakfast was cosy as if in our own home. Sylvia provided many suggestions for excellent restaurants, private wine tours and even best places to park when going into Florence. We hope to return, maybe even this year. Thank you.

    Five of my family members stayed at Villa Murray in June of 2008. We felt like we were home. Sylvia is an excellent host, great cook and her B&B has everything that a family could want. The pool was absolutely splendid for the hot days. The food was fabulous and we enjoyed visiting with Sylvia and her other guests. We hope to return to Villa Murray when we can get back to Italy. It could be a destination for anyone wanting to stay near Florence or in theTuscany region of Italy.

    Our stay at Villa Murray was one of the highlights of our journey through Italy. The accommodations were large, comfortable and the bathrooms spacious and modern. Silvia was the consumate hostess. Her advice and assistance were invaluable and would have been hard to beat. A very convenient bus ride to the historic part of Florence. We highly recommend this B and B. Be sure to take her cooking class.

    I enjoyed my stay at Villa Murray in early January 2008. The old home is very well restored and comfortable and Silvia takes extra care to make sure you are happy. The grounds of the estate are supurb with a long switchback driveway through a grove of trees. There are several good dining establishments nearby and transportation to the city is just a five minute walk. Caution print out directions to Villa Murray and follow them carefully.
