Porcigliano Bed and Breakfast is a welcoming country house a few kilometres from Florence. It is situated at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level, just outside the village of Polcanto in the green valley of Mugello.
The house was built over the ruins of the ancient tower of Porcigliano dating back to the Middle Age and, recently restored following the bio-building guidelines wishing to recreate a healthy and pleasant environment in harmony with nature.
The B&B offers its Guests three cosy and spacious bedrooms,
all of them offering a beautiful view over the hills and, furnished with old family's furniture.
A well-tended garden is at disposal of Guests and is perfect for enjoying relaxing moments. Guests can also enjoy a rich breakfast in the garden in the warm season.
Porcigliano is a perfect starting base to visit Florence and the most famous cities in Tuscany.

from Highway A1 Firenze Sud follow direction for Fiesole, once in Fiesole follow direction for Olmo, turn right at the road sign for Borgo San Lorenzo. When you get to "Polcanto" go in the village (keep left) and follow the sign for Porcigliano (left again). Apprx. 30 minutes
from Highway A1 Firenze Nord take for Bologna and then Barberino di Mugello exit. Follow direction for Borgo San Lorenzo and then take for the SS302 (Faentina) direction Florence.
When you get to "Polcanto" go in the village and follow the sign for Porcigliano - Nearest major airport: Florence, Italy (FLR-Peretola) 15 miles

follow direction for viali di Circonvallazione/centro and go to Piazza della Libertà . Once there follow Stadio/Fiesole when in Fiesole follow direction Olmo and then Borgo San Lorenzo. At the road sign "Polcanto" go in the village (keep left) and follow the sign Porcigliano
