"Collina degli Olivi" is a family-run tourist farm located 5 km from the medieval town of Certaldo on a dominating site from where it is possible to admire the famous towers of San Gimignano and to overlook the Florentine Chianti. Here children find an ideal environment in which to play and enjoy themselves safely; baby-sitter service is also available upon request. Particular attention has been given to the cuisine, and food preparation is overseen directly by the owners. The traditions of the rural Tuscan table are at its base, with oil and wine produced at the farm as well as other exclusively farm-grown products used. The Collina degli Olivi offers lunch and dinner to guests and visitors as well in the Restaurant of the Collina. The Chianina is the queen of our main courses. It can be served as a sumptuous fiorentina steak, a delicious peposo or a tasty stew “Caterina de' Medici” style. For vegetarians, depending on the season, we prepare delicate risottos with local vegetables, enriched with the famous San Gimignano saffron. Cakes are prepared with seasonal fruit by the creativity of Silvia. During summer time we all have dinner on the terrace. The terrace offers a panoramic view of the sunset and the stars which slowly take their seats in the nightly theatre. If you wish you can buy our home made products (wine, oil, honey…). But above all we are delighted to offer you our hospitality.

Our chef, Silvia Morelli, prepares our typical Florentine dishes that change on a daily bases. Every day our chef prepare breads and pasta.. Also for celiac people and vegetarian. Some of the dishes like la papa al pomodoro, il peposo and trippa arrive fresh every day from the market or from our garden. Not missing are other dishes from Florence and Siena, like bistecca, the boiled mix, various roasts, with slow and long cooking sauces, and many others. The menu is always a surprise, as are our incredible deserts prepared especially to conclude the beautiful experience.
