A good quality continental breakfast is included and romantically served in your room. The rooms also feature high ceilings, private bathrooms, a refrigerator, safe deposit box, and hair drier.
Situated in the historic center of Florence, Casa di Barbano is also particularly close to the exhibition center of Fortezza da Basso and the international conference center "Palazzo dei Congressi".

    From the train station (Santa Maria Novella): Go left out the station, cross at the cross-walk, turn right. Walk right past McDonald's, turn left at that (the first) corner. You will be on "Via Nazionale" (it is called "Largo Alinari" for the first block, though). Walk up Via Nazionale until the "Piazza Indipendenza" (a city park with trees). Turn left, walk through Piazza Indipendenza, walk one more block and you will be at Via di Barbano. Via di Barbano is a short street. Ring our bell at Via di Barbano #1.

  • Directions from airport:
    You may either take a bus from the airport to the train station, or a taxi right to our door. It is about 15-20 minutes away. If you are driving, drive towards "centro" (center) or "stazione" (station) and "Fortezza da Basso". We are just one block form the Fortezza da Basso. You may call us for more detailed drivng directions.

    Each room features Tuscan style decor and private bathrooms.Our ochre room can be a triple.
    All rooms have air conditioning.Casa di Barbano is located in the oldest building in the area - it used to be Signore Barbano's villa in the 1800's.
    Our hallway with older, classical Italian furnishings.Books and games are freely available to all our guests.
    Our bathrooms are most importantly CLEAN. They also have good showers with a strong water pressure.
