Black 5 Florence Suite

This bed and breakfast is really pretty but a little expensive in relation with their operational system. The rooms are clean, comfortable and pretty, the breakfast is great. But as staff is concern and as guest pleasure and relax is concern I didnt like at all. You have no assistance, because at least during my stay was no personal around what so ever, only the cleaning lady who didnt know what to answer about anything. They have a very strict clean schedule from 10 to 12 (and breakfast till 9:30) so no thinking on resting in your room in the morning, for the price of the rooms are so not worth it the stress (the cleaning lady annoyed us to leave the room 3 times from 10 to 11 am so she could clean it). And I thought it was absurd that the check out was at 10am. I do realize its a bed and breakfast but is such a high price for the inconvenience, after all Iam a guest and beside the will of knowing the city I also want to relax during my stay and that was not possible at this bed and breakfast.

Nicely designed little B&B. It is very central and the staff was amazing!

Nice hotel, with a very good location, quiet rooms and friendly staff. But no WiFi (although ethernet connection), the mattress are too soft and the breakfast doesn't match the standing

Black 5 is a unique amazing boutique hotel in florence center. Staff is very helpful and rooms are wondrfully furnisched. Daily bufet breakfast helps you to start the day with hot croassaint and fresh fruit. Sant Croce and most of important museums are around the place and never need taxi or buses. we´ll choose for sure Black 5 for our next stay in an amazing city as florence

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B con una coppia di nostri amici, Marco e Silvia, e devo riconoscere che Firenze è bellissima ma se riesci a dormire bene ed ha essere coccolato nel tuo riposo, tutto ciò che durante la giornata successiva riesci e vedere, è decisamente più bello.

Siamo stati in questo bellissimo B&B nel cuore di Firenze dove tutto è curatissimo e all'insegna della ricercatezza dei particolari per far trascorrere a d i propri clienti una vacanza indimanticabile non solo per le bellezze della città ma anche per i servizi che può offrire. Exceeded my expectations. Good for couples and excellent localization. But the time of check-in and check-out are limited.

We had a wonderful stay at Black 5! We tried take a peak at every room, because they were so lovely, neat and full of surprises - not the usual boring beige. They were, in fact, anti beige :) The staff were really helpful and friendly. The only minus was the noise from people coming out from bars and restaurants. Despite that, I would definitely make the same choice again!

The location is ideal next to all historical monuments, not noisy at all and not too far from a parking where to leave the car (15mn walk to parking Beccaria 20 Euros/24h). The room we stayed in (the suite with a double bed and two single beds) is great and we did appreciate the air conditionning. We were impressed by the quality of the breakfast too. Last but not least, the persons handling the bookings are really helpfull and most efficient. It was a real pleasure staying in this place and we certainly recommend it. Thanks to Sylvia and Serena. My Florence vacation was all about being centrally located so I could walk through the entire city and take it all in. Black 5 was a perfect locale and I was able to walk to everything from there. Checking in was a bit stressful and it appeared that perhaps the gentlemen checking me in was a substitute and he was stressed out, for no reason I could tell since I was the only one checking in. Aside from that initial impression, the rest of the visit was heavenly! My room was a cute small room with a private bath. There was a small refrigerator, water included, and AC - which was good in July. The brick walls and tiled floor were rustic and beautiful. I thought that the rooms were noisy at night, then realized I hadn't shut my window all the way closed. Once closed, I didn't hear all the hustle and bustle on the streets since it's a very active part of town. The Italian restaurant next door was delicious and I ate there on two occasions. The service was wonderful and I had assistance for everything I needed, including arranging for a cab to pick me up at 5 am. I used the internet from the front desk computer. Breakfast consisted of buffet served meats, cheeses, breads, croissants, oatmeal, coffee, juices and espressos. The delightful lady remembered my drink and offered it to me each morning. When everyone checked out on Sunday, I had a chance to look at all the rooms and they were all adorable. The customer service was truly excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would return. Thank you!

Really outstanding place in florence. Beautiful design and very comfortable rooms. All services are free of charge. Internet connection Free, minibar Free with mineral water and free deposit lugagge. Staff is very helpfull. We suggest this unique boutique hotel to all friends. P.S. Super Great Location in City Center...

Black 5 is a wonderful place full of florence city center. It's better than a boutique hotel. Place is Full of charm. All the rooms are different from each others. Very Clean and designed decorated. Staff is great with their effort. They have support us with museums and restaurant reservation and great suggest. Hip Point is the continental buffet breakfast . Really amazing. May be the best cappuccino I've never have in Italy. I suggest this outstanding place to everybody looking for a super place at right price in Florence. We couldn't ask for more...

E' stata un'esperienza sicuramente da ripetere, andata senza dubbio oltre ogni aspettativa. Posso assicurare che tutto l'ho ritenuto all'altezza di un hotel 4 stelle, sia sotto l'aspetto estetico, organizzativo e relativo al servizio. La Sig.ra Serena è stata esaustiva in maniera meticolosa sotto tutti i punti di vista. La Sig.ra Marina che effettuava il servizio di ristorazione mattutina è stata di una gentilezza squisita. Concludo, quindi, esprimendo tutto il mio apprezzamento, oltre quello di mia moglie, per la cortesia dimostrataci per tutto il soggiorno. The hotel has great location, extremely close to the city center, and the service was outstanding. The room was extremely comfortable, although a little cold (the room was a bit too big for the heater to handle it). Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Florence is one of the best City in the world. We spend a super week end in Black 5 and it was amazing. Central Location, near to the most restaurants and pubs and near to main local attractions and museums. We can not ask for more. Rooms very clean and cozy. Relax and charme are assured.

La mia permanenza è stata molto soddisfacente, la struttura è molto bella così come le camere. Pulizia e ordine molto buoni, l'unico appunto riguarda la colazione (obbligatoria 4,50€, non si può eliminare al momento della prenotazione): l'ambiente in cui viene servita è molto carino, ma vi viene dato un cornetto confezionato riscaldato al micronde e tutto il resto (soprattutto la carenza di qualsiasi cosa) non valgono il prezzo che viene addebitato. Un peccato perché basterebbe davvero poco per fare una figura nettamente superiore... hanno perso un'occasione! Per il resto promossi a pieni voti!
