  • Bed and Breakfast Leonardo da Vinci Video: Receptive family accommodation near to Accademia Museum placed in "Piazza San Marco". Bed and Breakfast Leonardo da Vinci is placed in the homonym street, in the "Piazza Savonarola" quarter, constructed in the last nineteenth century and first twentieth century. In our family we have always attached importance to the eating, and so also our B&B breakfast is really rich: bread, milk, coffee, tea, orange squash, yoghurt, fresh fruits, jam, brioches, eggs,... We think it's a good way to begin the day! At guests' disposal there are two bicycles and free internet with wireless Wi-Fi. On request we can serve a typical tuscan dinner with traditional recipes. We have also a completely vegetarian dinner. Some dishes: Bread soup (zuppa di pane), Tomato soup (pappa al pomodoro), Roast "dead" rabbit (coniglio arrosto morto), Liver crostini (crostini di fegatini). We organize also cook lessons. We have three bedroom. One triple bedroom with private bathroom (Green bedroom: it can also be a double and single bedroom); and two double room with shared bathroom (White bedroom and Orange bedroom, both can be also single bedroom). For every bedroom we give towels, bath-robes, hair-dryer and toilet soaps.

When we arrived at this charming B&B, we were told that since no one else was staying at the same time we were, our host Carla allowed us to stay in the largest room for the same price as the room we booked. The location was perfect. We were in walking distance to Il Duomo and the statue of David. We were also close to several bus stops, which would take you to Ponte Vecchio and that surrounding area. Carla recommended that we go to Frisole, which was a nice departure from the turisty areas and the views of the city at night are breathtaking. She also suggested going to Perseus Firenze Srl - Ristorante to try the Bistecca alla Florentine, which was delicious. Our last night there we asked her to prepare a meal for us, which was so wonderful. If we should return, we will come back and stay in her home again.
