Alla Dimora Altea is a kind B&B, placed the centre of Florence 400 meter from the train station Santa Maria Novella . All the rooms of Dimora Altea are made with florentine stile, are quite and have private bathroom, minibar, tv color,hairdryer.B&B Dimora Altea has a wonderful panoramic terrace where guests can have breakfast or relax to the sunshine. You can reach B&B Dimora Altea by car and park pubblic car parks o private garages with special prices for B&B's guests.Dimora Altea is at 400 mt from the rail station (Santa Maria Novella) and at 2 Km from the airport. You can reach the historic centre of Florence in 10 minutes by walk.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at Alla Dimora Altea. While it's not right in the heart of the city center, it's only an 8 minute walk away. I purposefully chose a location close to the rail station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella) because we would be arriving by rail and would be taking day trips to the Tuscan hill towns. The walk to the B&B is well paved, so it was no problem rolling our bags to and from the station. The elevator was large enough for both of us and our bags, and at night the streets are well-lit and safe around the B&B. Upon arrival Matteo was extremely helpful in pointing out how to get around Florence, including key local bus stops and providing recommendations for lunch and dinner (which turned out to be absolutely terrific). The rooms were extremely clean, climate-controlled, and we were fortunate enough to have a room that opened out onto the terrace - a huge, open area bedecked with blooming flowers and well-kept outdoor furniture. Very hard to resist the urge to lounge there for hours. What a terrific B&B to come back to at the end of a long day of exploring Florence! We would bring back snacks from the market and watch the sun set from Matteo's beautiful terrace before heading out for dinner. There was no problem coming and going as we pleased, as we had keys to the (secure) building, the B&B entrance, and our own room. Matteo was never more than a phone call away if we had questions. We would highly recommend this B&B.
