    The Podere Castagno offers B&B and also self-catering accommodation to couples or families with one/two children. We are in a beautiful panoramic position, on the top of a hill 12km far from the sea in straight line and 25km from the major airport Galileo Galilei ( possibility of direct low cost flies from and to the States and many European countries). The main Tuscan cities of art such as Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano and Siena can be easyly reached within one hour's drive. Florence is at 70km and if you don't want to trouble with the car you can conveniently get there by train. The rooms were the ancient stables of a typical Tuscan farmhouse. They are on the groundfloor,have independent entrance and a private area with table and chairs outside. Being exposed to North-East they remain shadowed and cool in summer, with a nice view on the oliveyard. In addition to the confortable rooms, we offer a large garden, a swimming pool (9.50x4.50) and chaise-longues amid the olive trees to enjoy the silence and benefit from the breeze coming from the sea.
