Il Pianigiano, among the hills of Tuscany, lies exactly halfway between Florence and Siena and can be reached easily by car or train. In addition, no more than 15 minutes from San Gimignano and 20 minutes from Volterra, boasts a privileged location to explore Tuscany without ever having to travel long distances. It is a cosy bed & breakfast nestled in the countryside but still less than 15 minutes walk from the town centre. At Il Pianigiano you will experience the real bed and breakfast. We offer comfortable rooms furnished in classic Tuscan style, a fully equipped common kitchen, bicycles, a private garden for your moments of relax, wifi, fruit straight from our fields, a wide choice of tourist guides and information about Tuscany and of course suggestions for your daily tours. The B&B entrance is totally independent from the rest of the house and during your stay you will have your own keys to be able to come back any time. All rooms have their own private bathroom, air conditioning and are reordered every day by our staff. Pets are welcome.

Directions to property:
Take the freeway to Siena (From A1 exit at Firenze Certosa). Exit at Poggibonsi Nord and follow towards Certaldo. Once in Certaldo cross the town until you find a roundabout (there's a kiosk on the left just before it), then go left and enter Via Toscana. At the second roundabout go right, and after about a kilometer get into a narrow street that you will find on your left. You will cross an overpass, then turn left and you will find our B & B on the right after 100 metres.

Directions to property:
From Pisa airport take the freeway (S.G.C.) towards Florence. Exit at Empoli Ovest and follow the directions for Siena. Past the sign "Certaldo" turn right and go straight until you find the sign "Piano di Sotto". There turn left and drive along for some kilometers until you find the sign of our B&B on the right. Otherwise just jump on the train (trains leave from right outside the airport) to Florence, get off in Empoli and from there take the one to Siena. Get off in Certaldo.
