    Villa Paggi country house is a welcoming guesthouse, ideally situated on the hills of Chiavari, 8 km from the shores of the Tigullio Gulf. In order to mantain the very soul of the house and to match the spirit of eco-tourism, the ancient building was restored following the principles of Bioarchitecture. Villa Paggi is a cosy and refined B&B where you can relax and enjoy your vacation, pampered by our high standard service and discreet cares. Our charming rooms are comfortable, soundproof, furnished with elegance and care. Every room has its private bathroom with hairdryer. The rooms are completely independent from the owners' home. A private parking is inside the estate. The setting permits to reach easily very interesting sites like Genoa, the Riviera Ligure with Portofino and the Cinque Terre.

    My name is Alessandra, before starting this job I worked as a pharmacist. I'm interested in biology, with a special interest in marine creatures, which I love to photograph while diving. I like gardening and preparing jams with the oranges, lemons and mandarins of our garden. My husband, Gianluca was an industrial designer. Recently he improved his skills in preparing several tipes of home made breads and cakes. Together we like very much to discover our territory while trekking and bicicling.

      By car: - From the Motorway A12 Genova-Livorno get out at the toolbooth of Lavagna. - At the intersection turn right in the direction of Carasco and follow this road for 5 Km. - At the roundabout turn left; - After 200 mt on the right you will find a sign for Paggi. Turn to the right and follow the road heading uphill for 1,7 Km. - On the left you will see a large millstone and the sign “Villa Paggi”. By train: from the railway station of Chiavari we organize the Clients transport service. By plane: from the airport of Genova we organize the Clients transport service upon request.

    We had a wonderful time staying at the Villa for two nights! Great location, beautiful views, wonderful hosts! The breakfast was fantastic and always lovely - fresh-baked goodies, delicious coffee, eggs, meats and cheeses. The rooms were very nicely redone, modern, clean and well-designed. The villa is perfectly located for access to the Cinqueterre as a day trip. Alessandra and Gianluca gave great information, directions and maps for what to do in the surrounding area and even went above and beyond in helping us locate a lost item at a previous location. A dinner at the recommended restaurant at the top of the mountain was especially wonderful. The Villa was a highlight of our trip to Italy!

    Villa Paggi with its nice garden is beautifully situated in the hills with a splendid view on the surroundings. The owners have paid attention to every small detail to make your stay pleasant. They are very helpful in finding the right things to do and see in the region. The breakfast, with several homemade products, is far from the usual Italian one. We had a wonderful time in Villa Paggi and intend to come back here.

    we recently spent 5 days at Villa Paggi and were very happy with our stay. the hosts, Alessandra and Gianluca were very welcoming and helpful, offering suggestions, directions and a list of local restaurants. Although it was still too cool to enjoy the deck, I'm sure that's it is a wonderful place to relax in the summer.Villa Paggi is perfectly situated to explore to Cinque Terre towns and Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure. Camogli and as far as Genova.

    Alessandra and Gianluca have lovingly restored this country house into an elegant and comfortable B&B. This was hands-down the best place we stayed on our three-week trip to Italy. Great location, fabulous views, yummy breakfast, large and luxurious bedroom and bath—all of this and more. Alessandra and Gianluca went out of their way to help us with directions and suggestions of things to see as well as helping us resolve a problem we had with an autostrade ticket.
