Built during the 12th century, the Borgo is undoubtly what remains of the ancient city of Semifonte, destroyed by Florence in 1202 A.D. Witnesses of those elder times, the tower and the four villas that are the heart of Borgo Petrognano have been recently restored to accomodate our guests through their relaxing, elegant and intimate journey in our luxury retreat. Sipping a cup of tea, either by the swimming pool, from the highest room of the tower or inside the villas, you will be embraced by the magical essence of times long gone, breathing history surrounded by intimacy and elegance.
