Welcome to Montenero B&B, a romantic country house country house with a breathtaking view: surrounded by olive groves in the peaceful hills of Umbria. It is an ideal place to relax, to visit medieval villages and cities and enjoy the excellent local food. We are close to Amelia, an old and charming town perched on a Hill between the valleys of the Tiber and the Nera, a still virgin territory of Umbria. You will find a warm and friendly welcome, beautiful nature, relaxation, and tips for your excursions to the beautiful art cities in Umbria and the close city of Rome.

Diana is happy to share with her guests the beauty of the Umbrian hills, her love for cooking, music, gardening and pets. You will be received by the Shithzu Band, Mafalda the dutch, and the uncle Baloo, my blond labrador! Not to mention the kittens ... ... the crickets on summer nights, the cicadas in the afternoon, the morning birds, and the hedgehogs and the foxes of the nearby woods.

How to reach us: From NORTH: Highway A1 exit Attigliano, follow the signs to Giove-Amelia, about 14 km routes immediately after the sign Montenero, turn right (S.Silvestro Road), after a few hundred meters you will find at the left 'Montenero B&B'. From SOUTH: Highway A1 exit Orte, follow the signs for the fast road E45 direction Terni and exit Amelia. When you are in front of the ancient Amelia's walls (Porta Romana), follow the road to Attigliano-Giove. After 3 Km. you will find the sign Montenero and a "trattoria” homonym, a few hundred meters further there is a little chapel on the left and immediately after a country road (S.Silvestro Road), following it you will find a little later 'Montenero' B&B on the left. BY TRAIN Orte station is only 17 Km. from the 'Montenero B&B', there are coaches which carry out service to Amelia. BY PLANE The nearest airport is Roma Fiumicino, from wich several trains arriving directly at Orte station. We will be pleased to pick you up at your arrival in Amelia if previously advised.
