Highlawn Inn is a wonderful place to "get away from it all." Very comfortable with an extremely friendly and helpful proprietor. Wonderful breakfast and throw in two adorable cats. Had a great time.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Barbara made dinner reservations for me both nights, and bc she made the reservation, they gave me the VIP treatment. Sandy's breakfast was AMAZING! Even the coffee was great! Everything was fresh made from scratch. There was a different variety each day.

This was our first stay at the Highlawn and we will absolutely be back! We stayed in the Parlor, which was fabulous! We were lucky enough to be there on a weekend with the Wine dinner, which was amazing! We had planned on doing a lot of walking that weekend, but added a few more miles to walk off Sandy's breakfasts which were made even better by Tim's special coffee blend.....it's addictive but he won't share the recipe! Can't wait to come back!

Everything about Highlawn Inn is terrific. The proprietors and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. We stayed in the Algernon, which has a spring-water jacuzzi that was the perfect way to relax at the end of a long day. And after a restful night on a comfortable bed, the prepared breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day. Have stayed at Highlawn before and will definitely do so again.

Have stayed at Highlawn Inn several times and have thoroughly enjoyed every one. Fabulous breakfast! Quiet atmosphere and pleasant staff. They are helpful in assisting with dining and spa arrangements too.

Breakfast was creative and well prepared - we loved the buffet all three mornings we stayed. Particularly enjoyed the asparagus and aoili and zuchini and herbs. Although we (and other couples we talked to) had expected a paired wine dinner one of the evenings, the dinner was delicious nonetheless and we had all the wine we could drink. It was a little disappointing but a lovely evening anyway. Sandy and her staff do an amazing job - we look forward to our next stay.

We stayed in the Lover's Loft. I was a little skeptical seeing the picture on the web, but it was more than satisfactory. The dinner we had was very good as were the breakfasts.
