5 stars all around! We arrived at the Belle Isle Inn for a weekend with myself, husband, 4 month old infant, mother in law and dog! The rooms were very nice, well decorated, and we had the whole floor to ourselves (which was great with an infant!). The owner was very knowledgeable about the area and very accomodating. The food was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

We've spent a great week-end at Belle Isle Inn for the Wine Festival in Algoma, not long ago. It was a woderful stay from the time we first walked into their cozy home till we said our good buys... Tia & Scott have not only made their house a unique and pleasant place to stay, but have created a warm and nice atmosphere with their presence and with their exclusive brekfast courses and appetizers. We look forward for a longer stay soon! Miss you Tia & Scott! Lavinia, Matt, Cristina & Cristi - Chicago

Tia and Scott made sure we ate fabulous food and wonderful wines. We would stay again and again... Kris and Kevin Busniewski

What a wonderful, relaxing stay in a beautiful upstairs room (with lounge & balcony). Cuisine was divine. Will return!

My wife and I have visited Algoma, Wisconsin several times, and this was the first time we stayed at a bed and breakfast here. We've stayed in several B&Bs, over the years, and we were very pleased with our stay here. The hosts were great, and the room we had was very nice. The breakfasts were also very good. We would come back again.

F LALOUX, Namur Wallonnie Belgique

My girlfriend and I spent a night recently at the Belle Isle Inn and just fell in love. I had never been to a bed and breakfast before and I think now I may be too spoiled to try anywhere else. From our arrival, which was late, we could tell just how serious Tia and Scott were about making our experience as personal as possible. Scott had assisted us in getting our bags upstairs, and Tia was quick to follow us up with an incredible bruscetta and a carafe of wine. being the only guests present, we were allowed to select either room and we stayed in the king room which was just a treasure. From the furniture to the art, all of it is truly top notch and selected with a great eye for atmosphere and style. The bed was comfortable, the fireplace warm, and the overall feel like being home. The next morning, we were treated to a breakfast that would shame a 5 star restaurant. I have worked in both the restaurant and hotel business, and have never been spoiled with such an elaborate breakfast. Wave after wave of food came to us each one more tasty than the last. Served in a beautiful dinning room that made us feel like we were a king and queen. Then as we finished our meal, we had a chance to visit with Tia and she is just such a delightful host that we had vowed to not only return, but to tell everyone about our wonderful stay. It is a rare occurrence when you can find a place with such a high level of comfort, value, and service such as this. I have paid twice as much for less than half of the experience we had in the Chicago area where we are from. We can not wait to return and enjoy yet another extraordinary experience at the Belle Isle. Thanks again to Tia and Scott from both of us, Chris and Kim

The Belle Isle is an inviting and cozy inn with large rooms, beautiful furnishings and great food. Tia and Scott made us feel right at home-it's the best B&B in which we have stayed.

We spent 2 nights at the most wonderful Inn. Our first stay at a B&B. Loved it. the food was amazing, hosts are incredibly friendly and down to earth. We are already trying find a time to go back and see them again. We were pampered with wonderful meals and the most comfortable room. Lovely home. Thank you Tia and Scott. Bruce and Kathy 9/16&17/11

Tia and Scott were very nice and gave great service. A very nice old home and well maintained. It felt like sleeping in your own bed at home and not like staying at a Holiday Inn, so that is great! That area in Wisconsin is a wonderful scenic place to visit during the time we did (last week in August) and comfortable B&B's like this make it very fun and relaxing. Overall, it was a good and fun stay.

I stayed at the Belle Isle Inn for the first time in July 2011. The innkeepers, Tia and Scott Bellisle, could not have been more friendly or accommodating. Their pets, Baileys the cat and Lucky the dog, were also very well-mannered and friendly. The inn is located on a residential street off of Hwy 42 just blocks from Lake Michigan. The rooms are immaculate, large and well decorated, especially if you like antiques. The only potential drawback is that all guests (up to 6) have to share a single bathroom and the room that I stayed in had no place to hang up your clothes. The guest lounge has a frig stocked with a complimentary assortment of cool beverages which was great as it was hot and there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms (although the ceiling fan and breeze off of the lake kept the room comfortable). The breakfast, served in the downstairs dining room, was delicious and featured local produce. Belle Isle Inn deserves another visit in cooler weather to take advantage of the fireplaces which are in each guest room. This is a great, laid back location and I would definitely stay there again.

We're very pleased that you enjoyed your "traditional B&B experience" and am soooo sorry that we apparently forgot to tell you about the hand carved, pop-up clothes hangers that are cleverly hidden, in plain sight, on the back of each dressing room door. Our sincere appologies ;)

We had wonderful and relaxing stay with Tia, Scott, Lucky (their puggle) and Baileys (their persian cat) It felt like staying with friends. We were the only ones there for 2 nights so it was more like a suite than a room. We had the entire upper floor to ourselves. The house is beautiful and imaculate as well as exquisitely furnished. Tia thought of everything. The breakfasts were out of this world. We highly recommend this if your anywhere near door county. We ate at the Stebbins Hotel both nights and it was beyond excellent. And we thoroughly enjoyed the two of you!!! We generally keep the "occupancy" at the Inn to 1 or 2 rooms so you as guests can really enjoy the "traditional feeling" of our 100+ year old home and it is comfortable for Tia to give attention to "Inn detail" without compromising her titanium ankle replacement!

With both my wife and I each being in the hospitality industry for over 20 years I would have to say this was one of our most memorable and enjoyable stays we ever have had. It was just by chance that we stayed here but we will definitely be back in the future when our travels brings us through Wisconsin. The four course breakfasts were stellar both mornings as were the evening hors d'oeuvres and wine service. With the warm welcome, excellent service accommodations and food, we can highly recommend staying at the Belle Isle Inn. Jeff & Cary Bradley Denver, Colorado

This house was my husband's childhood home. He talked about it all the time. A lot of his memories of his father, who passed away while they lived there, centered around that house. When we lived in the Green Bay area, we drove to Algoma for our Christmas tree every year. Each of those trips included parking in front of the house and hearing old stories. When I found out that it was turned into a bed and breakfast, I knew it was a place we had to stay! Walking through the house for the first time, we both had tears in our eyes. It's a beautiful home, filled with love and memories. Tia and Scott were wonderful hosts! We really enjoyed the conversation with both of them in the evening and with Tia over breakfast the next morning. (And their pets are adorable!) Spending the night in my husband's parents old room was a special treat that evening. It made us feel close to them, knowing that they had touched every doorknob and walked on the same floors at one time. Tia prepared us an awesome breakfast! It was a great way to begin our 900 mile journey home that day. Thank you to Tia and Scott for the wonderful evening and for filling this old house with love again!

My hubby and I traveled to Wisconsin for a friend's wedding last weekend and stayed at the Belle Isle Inn (which I found on this site). Tia took great care of us from start to finish, allowing early check in, leaving wine and appetizers in the afternoon and cooking two amazing breakfasts, both different, but extremely delicious! The king bed was so comfortable. The room was extremely clean, cozy and peaceful, especially with the electric fireplace glowing! Our last morning there, Tia and Scott joined us after breakfast for some great conversation. We highly recommend the Belle Isle Inn and would love to visit again in the future, if travels bring us close by! Algoma is a quaint little watertown that oozes friendliness, peace and comfort. Thanks, Tia and Scott, for making our visit so memorable. It was great to meet you both and enjoy your lovely home!

A friend and I were looking to explore Door County. We internet shopped for a place to stay for weeks, and happened upon the Belle Isle Inn in Algoma. It was a little outside of Door County, but was a wonderful find! Tia was so welcoming. The evening wine and snacks were wonderful. We felt very at home, and enjoyed strolling down to the lake in Algoma. Door County was a short and pretty drive away. Tia's breakfasts were WONDERFUL. She's very creative, and you can tell she loves to host. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there.

Wow!!!!! This is the best B & B I've stayed at - lots of room, wonderful hosts (Tia & Scott and their two critters - Bailey the cat and Lucky the puggle). Breakfast was fantastic didnt' need to eat the rest of the day. After a day of walking the Lake Michigan shoreline and wondering around Algoma nibbles and wine were waiting on the table - doesn't get any better than this. Thanks guys..... Anna J.

This was our first experience at a B&B. We are hooked. Tia and Scott were gracious hosts treating us like family. The historic home was beautiful and spacious. Only a very short walk to Lake Michigan and a beautiful beach and lighthouse. We loved tasting the local wine and socializing with our hosts. The breakfast was outstanding. We did not leave a scrap on our plates!! It was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to visit again.

I live in Green Bay and came Door County and Algoma for a "Girl's Weekend" and stayed at the Belle Isle Inn. Tia and Scott didn't just make me feel welcomed, I felt like they were genuinely happy to have me in their home. The bed was super comfortable, the house beautiful, and the breakfast was THE best ever. I am actually coming back up later this summer for another "Girl's Weekend" and there is no other place I would rather stay. You may arrive as guests, but you will leave as family.

I stayed here for one night in January while in Algoma for work. My room was huge, clean and very comfortable. Tia was very helpful in helping me enjoy my stay. I asked her before I came if she could recommend any good spots to cross country ski. She asked around and gave me some great suggestions. Breakfast was great too. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Belle Isle Inn was just fantastic! Tia and Scott were the most gracious hosts and so down to earth that we felt at home. Our room 'the king' was spacious, yet cozy and the food was incredible. We also felt the wine bar was very elegant touch to our stay. We loved hearing about the history of the Inn as well as the history of the town and the points of interest in the area. Our visit on NewYears Eve was very fun and relaxed and we are so looking forward to visiting again in the summertime. Tracie and Dean
