Sfuggire i problemi della vita quotidiana moderna in mezzo i comfort tranquilli di questa casa stile federale restaurato, nelle camere molto che la famiglia di Lee, una volta di proprietà e che Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson ha scelto come sua sede temporanea durante la guerra civile. Da questa casa nel 1861, Jackson piacevolmente scrisse a sua moglie di una rosa profumata arrampicata alla sua seconda stanza storia - successivamente in appresso denominate le "Rose di Jackson-" e un "elegante villa" e "bella, verde cortile." Le camere includono letti queen-size e bagni privati; casa caratteristiche originali cuore di pino pavimenti, stufe a gas, soffitti alti, anteriore riscladata e portico, rosa di erbe e giardini. Nostro pasto completo di mattina, fatta con uova fresche locali e giardino di erbe, insieme con le nostre marmellate fatte in casa, la prima colazione pani, la frutta fresca e caffè colombiano, avrà inizio il giorno di riposo diritto.

We are a retired career military couple who travel extensively and prefer to lodge in B & Bs. As history buffs--teacher and writer--to spend the night in the very room where Stonewall Jackson penned letters to his wife meant stepping back in time. The on-site hosts, Deborah and Phillip, made our brief stay in Harper's Ferry memorable as well. Without hesitation we recommend the Jackson Rose. Texas Travelers

The Jackson Rose was first class! The room was beautiful and amazingly kept. The service was superb and we couldn't say enough about the breakfasts! They were outstanding!! This was definitely worth every penny. We would recommend this B&B to anyone. We were 125% satisfied and can't wait to go back.

If you are going to Harpers Ferry for a historic tour, this is the place to stay. Absolutely gorgeouse decor. The food was excellent and the extra little bits of hospitality like the lemonad and cookies sin the afternoon and the cd they offered to lend us on our trip to Antietam just added to the overall experience. Wonderful hosts. Good location and beautiful rooms.

We enjoyed the Jackson Rose, where Stonewall Jackson spent time during the Civil war. A lot of history there and in Harper's Ferry.

Very comfortable place to relax and read about Harpers Ferry history. Awesome French Toast...could use no-slip mats in tub.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jackson Rose Bed & Breakfast. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, and the house has been meticulously cared-for. We would highly recommend this inn to anyone.
